It was $220 shipped so a $33 drop isn't bad. Also the volcano II was $13 shipped. A good combo maybe.

(If this has been posted already I apologize!)

i've placed several orders from newegg, everything is great excpet the shipping tends to get a bit high...the individual shipping charges are just lumped together even if you order several items at the same time

edit - bad math skillz 🙂

I just bought one for $215 like 3 weeks ago.

I suck. 🙁

Great deal...^bumpity-bump-bump^ 🙂

Are tbey typically slow in shipping? I ordered a 1.2G/266 Wednesday night, it is now Saturday and it has not shipped yet! I am more use to on-line shops shipping within 24 hours.

I have had about 5 orders from newegg in the past 3 weeks. Shipping is fast, however Fedex is bad about updating their site. I have had things show up at my door before tracking information is posted.

Regarding lumping shipping charges. I think newegg is smart in that they charge a fair price for their merchandise and shipping. They don't pander to the thankless bottom-feeders, which means they'll probably be around for a good long while 🙂.

They usually ship pretty quickly. I'd give them a call to confirm shipment. Newegg rocks!

I had a 1GHZ 200FSB T-Bird I needed to return and not only did they blow off their 15% restocking fee but they also credited my account the amount it cost me to ship it back to them.

Why do you people keep posting Newegg's deals in here?!
Stop insulting our intelligence, we can go to the site and see the prices for ourselves!

Don't turn this forum in to re-advertizements of well-known web sites.

vboy,

by that same logic - everyone stop posting staples deals since you can go to their website & find them....this is a damn good price from a quality online merchant - you don't have to read the newegg posts if you don't want to but find something better to do than crap on a good deal

FWIW, here's my experience:

I bought a bunch of stuff from Newegg last week. The shipping was much less than the sum of the indicated shipping figures for each item. As I added things to my shopping cart, I checked the shipping amount & each incremental item added a modest (I thought fair) amount to the shipping total.

The stuff was shipped about in about 2 days -- no problems.

<<Why do you people keep posting Newegg's deals in here?!>>

Its nice to know when prices drop. If newegg started charging more, then maybe there wouldnt be any posts, but since they keep the deals coming, they keep on getting new threads about it.
