1.3 Ghz Athlon Operating Temp??

What is the optimum operating temp for a 1.3 Ghz Athlon T-Bird? When should I start to worry?

wrong forum dude, but keep it under 55 degrees C and you should be ok. = my uneducated opinion.

AMD says that they can run into the 70s, but I would never let mine go that high.

In theory it can go into the 70s for brief periods of time without burning up, but once you get above 60 you'll get lockups.
