One of my P3 700e @ 933 machines is down.
There was a power event (?) today while I was out. Two machines came back just fine but the one on the MSI BX master mobo isn't responding.
I've tried pruning it back to just the mobo, cpu, memory & vid but still no go.
I shorted the cmos clear and still no go.
Tomorrow I will try putting that cpu & memory & vid in a working machine to determine if it is the mobo or one of the other components.

Were these protected by a UPS?

The MB is my first guess though it could be either of the others. 🙁
 
Turns out the infineon 128 meg 7ns PC133 ram went bad.
I bought this from Compuwiz1 a while back and it was a very good stick of ram, but now it's dead.
I need to get a replacement, either for this or a better stick for my main box and swap that one in it's place.
I have a 256 meg infineon PC133 in there so maybe a PC150 or PC160 stick would be better for my main box and this infineon would be good to go in the dead box.
Anybody know where to get some good ram for cheap?

Just bought a stick of 256 meg Crucial CAS2 on the ForSale forum.
Probably get this cruncher back up on Friday.
