ok today i just finished installing my brand new iwill kk266 mobo with a 1.2ghz 266 tbird and when i booted it up it says that its a 900mhz tbird. then i downloaded cpuid and it says the same thing. also it said its running at 200 fsb when its suppose to be 266. help me please!

Go into your bios and change the settings. It should be as easy as a few arrow keys, at least it was with my abit kt7a and 1.2.

Lucky for you thats the least of your problems -sigh-

You are running at 9x100mhz FSB,it should be at 9x133mhz FSB so check your bios settings ,I`m not sure about your board but some boards have a 100/133mhz jumper on the board.
