I'm somewhat interested in the 53" sony but having trouble finding more details about it. The BB product number ends in 76, but I can't find that model listed anywhere, even at sony.com.
Did find a listing though for a kp53s75. Seems like a decent non-widescreen tv, plus they'll give you a screen cover and cheap chair to go with it

Woot. I got in on the BestBuy XBox deal. Was hedging for a month or more and the free extra game (NFL 2002) thrown in pushed me over. Got the box and 3 games for $212. It's a decent deal and from what I've seen so far, XBox Rocks.

Stay away from KLH. They are not worth a dime. The sound is so cr*ppy. At any price.

I was in the same situation - needed cheap but good speakers. Got Pioneers model # SH452 at CC. The newer version is SH453FK. They are nice looking AND sound so-o-o-o-o good. You can get them on sale for $140/pair, or if you are lucky you might be able to pickup an open box for $100/pair. They are 3-way, and they have two wooffers. They outscreem my sub.

Trust me, there is no comparison to KLH or anything else in this price range. Once you get these Pioneers, you will be working on getting that x52 or x53 series speakers all around.
