1/2 keyboard software question.

So my friend is working with a disabled person. Apparently he has heard of software, something with a name like HAFT-QWERTy, it works with normal computer keyboards but allows you to only use the left hand for typing. Has anyone heard of this? Thanks.

Saw this at MacWorld two years ago. It looks like a piece of crap. You essentially hold down one key and hit the keys to get the other half of the keyboard, at least the model I saw worked that way.

No, this is just the software, it works on normal computers, that's what I am looking for.
