Naw, I'm 27 and I'll go out with 18 year olds :) Although there isn't much I can do with them except for a few activities. Prefer 21 at least. Also, I'm trying to NOT have to worry about 30 year olds until I hit 29 or 30. Then I might go there. The problem is... women drop of fast after 30. Not all, no, but for the majority of women it's all downhill. 40 is really bad....

and the same doesn't apply for men? i fail to see the logic. it seems like the rule is:

men want super young girls. i 25 and i'd like to bang the hell out of an 18 year old, but it seems just a little wrong to date someone that young.

HUH?!?!? I am a guy, I'm just stating what I like to date in women and it is my OWN rule set. I don't like to go that far above my age right now. I'm 27 and I MIGHT go out with a 30, but I'd be quite a bit hesistant to go out with a 31. Until I hit 30 then the chances of me being out with another 30+ year ol are very slim to none.

In Texas we get to fvck 17 year olds. Funny how if they go over to your state, they become "children"!

Actually, in Vermont the age of consent is 16 so its the other way around.

yeah, but only with concent of the parents.

Really?!

I gotta make a phone call!

LOL, awsome, just awsome.

so you like younger women. but not older. kinda like, you'd date someone 3 years older, but would also date someone 6 years younger? hypocrite?

Not at all. That trend is true for many, many people. There are exceptions. But generally men like younger women and generally women like older men. That way, the maturity level tends to be about the same. There is nothing hypocritical about it. There are even reasons that this might have been built in naturally over thousands of years. To best procreate, men need healthy younger women (40+ women just don't have many kids). To best keep those kids alive, families needed men with a better more stable life (which tend to be older men).

For me, I'm 28 and just started dating someone who is 24. I had my personal limits: +- 5 years (23 to 33), but I definately would rather be on the younger end than the older end.

the reason why the .5+7 rule is great is that it takes into account that as people grow older it is generally more acceptable for them to date someone with a larger age gap as apposed to when they are younger.

60 and 37 is not a big deal.

My girlfriend is 5 years older than me. We started dating when I was 22. I'm 30 now.
