1, 2... 3 monitor?

I have an ATI AIW card, but I'd like to get a dual monitor setup going.

My question: So if I have the AIW in the AGP, and install a PCI video card with two outs, can I run a dual monitor and still use the Tv features of the AIW? Or will this cause a meltdown. I'd like to maintain the tv/recording features.

I've been looking at something like this: Link

Could I run a triple monitor setup like this? This all seems really... impossible, but that's why I'm posting here.

Any suggestions welcome.

PCI with 2.. yeah, I even linked it up there for ya.

I did a shameful thing here and posted before searching. So I hope there hasn't been an answer to this question, and I'm just overlooking it.

Sorry, I am blind I missed the link before.

Hmm...I'm not certain that you'll be able to get the ATI card and nVidia card working together harmoniously. They each will use their own driver, so I dunno if you can get what you're looking for.

It'll work fine, you just need to install the new card and then go into the Display control panel. Click on your new second (or third) monitor, and tick on "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor". Voila. 🙂
Then, go get Ultramon (Google for it, I'm lazy), which will make managing those desktops a lot easier, and give you the ability to have one wallpaper per desktop, or one large one that spans all two or three. Enjoy!
