This has been an incredibly fast game..it's only been 2:30 hours o_O

The game started at 8 eastern and its just a couple of minutes until 11.

no the game started at like 8:20 there was 15-20 min of fucking bullshit press player crap that no one cares about first

Figures. They probably needed that time to allow the Pats to finish off the refs. :D

That's what happens when one side never punts the ball

This is why the Pats keep winning. They play football to win, not to be macho.

Convincing hulking men to do stupid things has never been hard.

Or they keep winning because they are stacked on both sides of the ball and play dirty. Winning is everything no matter how you get there I guess.

Well, you articulate what many people try to convince themselves of because, apparently, they are so tied to their professional sports teams' status that they cannot bear to admit another team is better than theirs.

I retract my earlier statement - I do not want want the Patriots to win the superbowl just so I can witness history, but also so it will annoy people who get annoyed about things as silly as this.

I can admit they are far better than my favorite team but then again I can also say that my team didn't get fined heavily for illegal video taping. My team doesn't have the talent to run with these boys. We are in a rebuilding decade or two. :)

Well, congrats Pats fans. I was rooting against you, but Jacksonville's D played terribly, and your offense seemed like it could do whatever it wanted whenever it wanted. Jax obviously missed Stroud and Washington, and a healthy Henderson. No physical play whatsoever.

I feel sorry for Garrard, who played a great game despite having mediocre receivers (though some receptions were pretty nice) and a defense that forced him into a must score position ever possession. Who would've thought Jax would go down because their D couldn't hold up its end of the bargain?

I think Garrard is going to do a lot to turn the Jags into legitimate SB contenders. I like his style of play as he's both accurate with the pass (especially out of the pocket) and speedy with his legs. Good potential right there. From what I've seen in the few games I've watched of him, he reminds me of McNair.

You know, sooner or later you're going to be right and claim "I told you so." (Even though it probably took you 18 games to get there.) :p

Which would put him on par with most talking heads on ESPN.

Your welcome, and  for showing some class, unlike some other Waaaaaambulance folks
around here. Interesting that Jax rarely blitzed in the second half, Brady had WAY to much time to
operate back there. Looking forward to tomorrows game (Colts/chargers) I think Indy will stack
the box and force Rivers to try to beat them, and he won't. looking like another epic Colts/Pat's
showdown for all the marbles!

I expect Jacksonville to have some success moving the ball on the ground I doubt the passing game will do much against the NE secondary & I'm also looking for a lot of interceptions.

Patriots 31 - Jacksonville 14

Well my final score prediction wasn't off by a whole lot, but I have to say that Garrard & the Jags really showed me somthing today ... this game was a lot closer then the final score indicates & was one of the more entertaining NFL games of this season IMO.

My only other comment is that the entire league better watch out for Jacksonville next season!

Yet.

You will never convince me, ever, that any team in the NFL does not have its hand in the cookie jar in some way. This is professional sports.
