Dandy Dash was 4 wheel drive. This one isn't. Still quite a deal when you consider the 7.2v and charger is included in the price. That's like $20-$30 on its own right there.

thanks joker...picked one up even though i absolutely did not need one. i missed out on the dandy dash, but my room mate got one...it's pretty cool. i guess this one will probably sit next to my humvee :)

Is this 'hobby quality' as the dandy dash was? I have a feeling it is not, but the frame and suspension look identical.

It should be a pretty quick car. I had the 540 motor in one of my old Radio Shack $150 RC cars, and it was one of their fastest ones. (1500 fps, or something like that).

got one of those dandy dash and love it.

this is an awsome deal if it is any where near the dandy dash in quality. its got batteries included.

The controller looks the same the suspension looks the same. the only difference is the 2 wheel drive.

got 2 of these.

Can anyone give any comments on this 4 foot gargantuan of a wingspan bomber!? How about that price point?

BTW, thanks Joker for the car. it looks pretty damn agile and quick. I think I'm gonna have to get it for somebody and test it out for a few weeks before I give it to that person =) Peace.

edit: I think i'm in love. I may have to splurge and say happy birthday to myself a little early this year.

1,500 feet/sec, the car can go faster than a 747(is it supersonic already). I think it is more like 1.5 fps or 1500 rpm?
As for the dandy dash against this, I don't think it is up to that.

Sweet deal!! Now I can race my Thor, Dandy Dash, and Predator all at the same time. No more fighting for the controls for me and my two boys, thanks Jokersmoker!! Actually this is a better deal than the Dandy Dash for those that don't want to mess around with assembling, painting, etc.. and includes the battery and charger. If the peformance is on par with the Thor you should not be dissapointed.

According to the website, it Requires 7.2V NiCd pack (included), charger(included) and 6 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included). Any body
hnow what are the 6 AA batteries used for?
