There is a lot of talkinga about 1:1 ram fsb is better, because the sync creates better performance... but that was long ago... is 1:1 ratio better this days or they are just plain myth right now... something kinda in the past...

I try to test this 1:1 on my computer and i notice that 1:2 with the memories up to 800 are better than just 1:1 at memories running at 400...

dunno what other people tests will show up...

maybe is something that isnt absolutly better... you need to test and find out what is better for your rig...

running a faster memory speed is better, but running @ 1:1 won't hurt your real world performance at all.

what type of "synthetic"? and why would synthetic show a difference but non synthetic not? that makes no sense at all.

He means synthetic benchmarks, like Sisoft Sandra. The reason is that hardly any apps benefit from having extra bandwidth, with the exceptions being Photoshop and scientific calculations. Those statements don't apply to AMD's processors, though, they seem to benefit from the extra bandwidth.
