Say both were o/c to about 140fsb on Asus TUSL2-C.

How much faster/better performance would the PIII Tualatin 512K give? Is it worth it?

Should be pretty close to each other.
If you're only going to OC the FSB to that level, not only you're crippling the FSB OC potentiality of the P3S but you would also be wasting money getting the P3S- 512k. What I'm saying is that if you are going to get the P3S, you will want to o/c the FSB to a much higher level than 140 FSB. i.e. 155 ~ 166+ FSB. If you are planning to stick with ~ 140fsb, you might want to get the 1.0A Celery.

I like the idea of 512K cache, i hear it does have huge performance, but the price... ugh.
The 1.0 celly is what i chose, it Rox0rs at 1.4GHz.
However, if money was no object, i would get a duallie board and a single p3 512, then grab another one later... which you cant do with the celly.
