Nope, I saw that bit just fine. I simply ignored it because you didn't give a good explanation as to why the parts had to be from Fry's (generally more expensive). You should have given the explanation below before getting irritated at someone who is trying to help.

LOL. Ignoring things don't make it go away. It appears that's your general style. I understand all this, but my parents are only accepting Fry's equipment.

You were very rude, cursed, and unfriendly.

You crack me up son. I'm not here to tell you that your build is perfect, I'm here to help you save money.

I don't know where you see the demeaning tone, but to me it's in your posts more than mfenn's.

agreed. we are trying to help you save money
I need your help in deciding what I should buy, as I am building my PC from scratch (least expensive way)
hm... contradictory to what you said. Fry's assembly costs money, 10% i believe, and you can build it by yourself for free.
The assembly will be necessary. If you're going to suggest anything, please make it from Fry's and not anywhere else. It's my parents' decision as to where we get the parts, and they are saying Fry's.
you could talk to your parents and tell them that there are other places that are cheaper (ex: MicroCenter, Amazon, Newegg)

if YOU are going to be rude, then go to Fry's yourself and ask them to build what they think is a good 1k computer. Fry's will probably give you bulldozer and a matx board in a full tower case, 5400rpm hdd, 80 gb ssd, and some cheap gpu *laugh*

PS: your hdd of choice is laughable. the "green" hdd you chose spins at 5400rpm, slower than the standard of 7200rpm. 😀

I came in here just so I can back up mfenn, because he spends alot of time helping people that need help like yourself.

Better apologize before this thread becomes a big callout thread:hmm:

I agree, the earlier choice of 7200RPM Caviar Black was better even though quite a bit more expensive. 5400RPM would work if he bought an SSD as well.
