if i wanted to know how much $1,000,000 in 1913 is worth today, where can i find out?

also, what goes into calculating something like this?

Look for a CPI or inflation calculator.

What cost $1000000 in 1913 would cost $17902712.01 in 2002.

Also, if you were to buy exactly the same products in 2002 and 1913,
they would cost you $1000000 and $55857.46 respectively.

Here

Beats me how it works, I think it's based off the CPI.

If you had 10,000 100 dollar bills in 1913, you would still have 10,000 100 dollar bills today. Assuming you didnt spend any of it.

they don't have anything that goes beyond 2002

I wouldn't want to know what it would cost now to build Casa Loma in Toronto. 3.5 million in 1911-1914.
