Hi,

Last night I noticed my computer was restarting on it's own as I looked closer, I noticed it was BSODing for no apparent reasons. I decided to turn it off for the night and this morning, each time I started it I got a BSOD right after login, even in safe mode.

BSODs were:
0x1D (most of the time) mentioning iastor.sys which seems to belong to intel matrix storage...
0x1E
0x3B

Unplugged all hardware from the computer (camera, mouse, tv tuner) and tried a few times to restart the machine and managed to boot using safe mode (with command prompt). There I was able to run registry clean and malware scan (malewarebytes) nothing came out.

Then tried system restore using the installation disk but it returns: Unexpected error 0x800700b7

I also tried removing memory to see if any DIMM were faulty but that wasn't it.

I then tried fixing windows 7 mbr using installation disk and now it won't get past loading screen quickly crashing with 0x7D.

Read on techsupportguy forum that TDL 3.0 Alureon could be the problem but can't prove if it is.

Rig:
-EVGA x58 motherboard
-Core i7 930 @ 3.8 GHz
-GTX 470
-6GB DDR3 triple channel mem.
-Intel X25-m 80GB SSD
-2x WD Caviar Black 500GB HDD (raid 0)
-Seasonic 850W PSU
-Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
