The Time for the next Lan at Karsten's has been set.
Sept 24-26
Mark your calenders!

The rules:

• 
  - You must be 16. 21 if you plan to have a drink (We plan to concentrate on gaming, not drinking)
  - A working computer (for your benefit, try to make sure you computer doesn't crash every 5 min)
  - A drink of your choice if you need something special. A cooler or two with Ice will be available
  - Bring something to Grill or other snacks of your choice. I will provide some basics
  - A sleeping bag if you decide to crash till Sun.
  - There is a 15$ cover. That includes a Pizza run on Sat., raffle prizes and some drinks.
  - Only register and say you come if you really know you can.

Games you will likely need, but are not a must:

• 
  - Call of Duty: United Offensive (Make sure you bring your COD Disk)
  - Star Wars Battlefront (To be released the week before the Lan)
  - Battlefield Vietnam (1942 MOD)
  - Americas Army (Freeware, will be available at the Lan)

The Sponsors and I provide prizes and we started to have some sort of tournament for some extra excitement. Don't miss out on this one.

HL2 got bumped on the EB list to Nov.1 so I doubt it.

HOWEVER, I plan to have a Birthday Bash in Nov. We can always hope for that

I'm in douglasville but not a gamer. I wouldn't mind dropping in on the birthday thing to meet some nerds (haven't seen any since HS) and dropping off something that would make future LAN parties better. Don't know what that is though.

I live nearby, but don't play any of those games. I don't really have my own transportation (since Freshman can't have cars their first semester) anyhow.

You still so sure about that HL2 info? With all this HL2 pre-load news, people are saying release will come within the next 2 weeks!
