One year advance exchange (warranty) is included. I believe this is the lowest price I have seen. The absence of free shipping sours the deal a bit, but if you live in a place where Dell does not collect sales tax, you are up for a great deal.

I was had been eyeing the DJ and the 40GB Zen Xtra. Decided to go with the Zen last week because of the lack of a sale on DJs. I wish I could compare the two. I love my Zen's capacity (have not had a chance to play with all the features yet), but would love to compare it with the DJ side by side.

the 15gb dj comes with a nylon case, but the 20gb dj comes with a remote. so for $26 more, i get 5gb more and a remote (but lose the nylon case).... decisions, decisions!

i got a refurb dell insprion 1100 a while back and it came as it would have practically new..i didnt see a scratch, dent, or plastic thing open on it.
I think they truely refurbish their product before putting it on their "outlet"

i was just looking up some reviews and ppl say that u have to use the crappy bundled musicmatch software with the dell dj. some ppl also said u can't use it as an external hd. i thought u could use it to store data... ?

You don't have to use Music Match. Dell released the DJ explorer software which does all the transferring and batch tagging.

External Hard drive... Nope, doesn't work. Only works if you have the software loaded at each place you are going to use it at.

I love my DJ, but if you are comparing it to an IPod you'll be disappointed. This is NOT an IPod replacement. Don't expect it to be.
