YUCK. The edged corners make it closer to a damn Explorer now. My family has been a firm jeep supporter since the 80's but I think we might be skipping this generation (along with that hideous liberty).

opinions are like azzholes, everybody has one..

I think it looks really nice. Time will tell when it hits the lot and how the vehicle acutally drives of course.

Loving my 'new" (to me anyway) '00 Jeep Cherokee Sport.

the headlights have too much mercedes in them. either go with a CJ looking front or go with squared lights. the rest of it isn't that bad. that black under-bumper thing is weird too.

really i'm more concerned with the suspension design

meh... I've seen worse. The concept for the next-gen Eclipse makes that look like a Porsche

I don't think it looks too bad, to me it really seems to share a lot of the lines from the Gen 2. The headlights do look Mercedes in nature, but I don't think they look bad.

I am, though, more interested in the specs on that vehicle.

It looks walleyed.

Maybe it's more handsome in person, I don't know. It's not horribly ugly, just off.

I think the Grand Cherokees were always ugly. Nasty front grill and it's gotten worse. The only SUVs I've ever liked the looks of are:

1st gen Rodeo
1st gen Durango
Current Trailblazer
Current Pathfinder Armada

Hrm.

Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder, err, beholder...

It looks a lot like the current generation Grand Cherokee, which I have driven a lot over the years.

Don't understand why you find it so revolting, NFS4?

Cheers,
