It's refreshing to see good first hand experience with a car on ATOT instead of spouting fanboyisms. Hats off to you.

I too have tons of brake dust on my 6MT, but they do feel good.

My biggest complaint is the weight and floatiness. It ain't no sports car and it doesn't feel like one. But cruising at 90-100 is very easy and comfortable.
The neat thing is that you can tell right off if the TL next to you is a 6 speed by the dust and white ACURA logo on the front calipers. Oh and its just as fun cruising at 135 to 154 as well. Not that I would ever do that ya know :)

yeah, its definately a cruiser.

something about downshifting to 4th when you're at 100 is oh-so satisfying. she just pulls and pulls and pulls.

at 3450 lbs, it's still too heavy? I mean, the 330ci is 3400lb, so is the new Mustang GT.

when you're used to light sports cars, it feels heavy.

Otherwise, this car is unbelievable for the price.

And I would definitely buy the manual over the automatic.

Doesn't torque steer pull the car to the left, unless they placed the longer half shaft over on the passenger side.
At least that's how it felt when I test drove the TL

what do you used to drive?

99 prelude SH and M3 (not a fair comparison as those handled like a dream)

it may be more about the suspension and body roll than weight. it just feels heavy and not as nimble.
