I know most you folks like your Toyota's, Honda's and maybe even your Nissan's. I for one give much credit to those car manufacturers. I usually complain about GM and its "krappy" interiors, plastics hold togethet he car and sometimes even horrid design. But deep down I am a GM lover. The first car I drove was my Dad's '84 Buick Century, then came the 95 Bonneville which I abuse so much but keeps on trucking for some reason.

I myself own a 01 Astro. Now for the car to GET for me is this Baby! right here. I LOVE IT MAN. 4.4L V8 (GM finally got rid of that 3.8 V6 and put a TRUE V8 in this beauty) I will definitely buiy one in 2006 (after the bugs, fixes and enhancements) have been added to the car. Truly I thought I should get a Camry shortly, but it seems I'll be keeping my Astro a bit longer and go to V8 POWER.. All that TORQUE...... MUAHAHHA... MUAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA.. Sorry I can't help it. Finally a car that a girl will KNOW... instead of saying.."What's a Bonneville?"

GM is a joke. I'd rather ride around in a rickshaw than risk life and limb with one of those mexican-made POS "American" cars. :|

I had a GMC Jimmy for 5 years and 4 years after ditching its sorry ass I still get recall notices at least twice a year.

The 04 Bonneville is FRONT wheel driven (so the turning radius is HORRIBLE) but better stability. So there is a trade off.

I drove a 95 GMC Jimmy also. That thing had Rattles, shakes, things just making Noise for some odd reason. I had to turn the radio up so much, so I don't hear it. My Astro has the same 4.3 V6 engine as the Jimmy and its starting to make noises also. Bummer... I guess thats top notch GM quality for ya.

It looks nice. Hopefully the price is competitive.

I know, I'm hoping the $$ is under 26K with descent amenities. I also LOVE the Aurora V8... freaking has streamined design and the rear is beautiful....hope those designers pick up the slack for the old Pontiac designers.

Yeah, been there done that. V8 front wheel drive with typical GM crap to go along with it.

Considering that a '03 Bonneville SSEi STARTS at $33,000, the V8 model is going to be pushing $40,000. You have got to be kidding me! This car is a freaking joke. Let's see, what could I have for $33,000 - $40,000. Audi A4 Quattro, BMW 3-Series, Infiniti G35, Volvo S60, and many others...

I would say "Nice try GM" but this is a pathetic attempt to add "Performance" to the Pontiac name.
