$0.35 / gallon gas hike in past two weeks :confused;

Same station, same grade each gallon was $2.429 on 8/3, today it's $2.769.

I can't see any justification in a nearly 15% hike in two weeks.

It's not the money p!ssing me off, it's the principal of it, especially in Florida how when a hurricane comes near and especially private stations double their prices.

They are going to drill in Alaska, and it ISN'T going to lower your gas price at the rate oil will be extracted.

I've been saying practically the same thing in every gas-bitch thread... I don't care that it's gotten higher... I'm just pissed that the companies (ie. Exxon) reported record profits because they're raping us. It's not because they need to do it if that's the case, is it now...

go take an economics course. and if you don't think it is worth that price, don't buy it. the simple fact is that for the energy you get out of a gallon of gas, the price is still a tremendous bargain.
