Yes, if you're the sort of person who notices a difference of 0.021 mm of dark space.

Er, a monitor with the former dot-pitch will look a little dimmer than one with the latter. You could always go down to Best Buy or something and compare.

I'm no expert on this, but it seems to me that pixel pitch on LCDs is really more a function of the resolution and size of the display than anything else.

I.e. if you're using a 17" panel with 1280x1024 rez, then the pitch should be about .26-.27. While if you're using a 19" at that rez, the pitch would be more like .29, because the pixels have to be more spread out to fill the screen.

Does this jive with other people's experience?
