One goal is to end free weather forecasts….

Because some rich fucks who donate to the GOP own services like accuweather and want to force everyone to use their services to increase profits.

Just standard end stage capitalism rent seeking bullshit.

Would that include the military? Would they have to buy their weather forecasts for D-day-like landings or airborne operations, from private companies (that could presumably even be foreign-owned)?

Yes. If the Weather Service is dismantled they wouldn’t have a choice.

What I also take from that is that Trump would turn all TV and radio news into something resembling Fox News. 🤮

He says only he can fix the country. He wants to run it, likely more powerful than Putin or Xi, actually. If he eliminates the Civil Service and is in control of the strings to appoint hundreds of thousands of federal employees (to replace the Civil Service) and have the ability to have any of them fired for any reason, legal or not (Immunity!) he will be the undisputed Dictator of America. And indeed, as explained in the video, it may become very difficult to be elected unless you're a Republican. The way back to democracy in the USA may be little more than a fairy tale.

The US legal system seems to already be politicized to a scary degree. The blatantly partisan nature of the Supreme Court is just the visible tip of the iceberg.

Mr. Vance, the Ohio senator and now Mr. Trump’s running mate, predicted on the podcast that the former president, who had been recently disgraced by his insurrectionary attempt to overturn the 2020 election, would nevertheless run again in 2024. Should Mr. Trump win, Mr. Vance said, he had some advice: “Fire every single midlevel bureaucrat, every civil servant in the administrative state, replace them with our people.” And if the courts ruled against him? No problem, Mr. Vance said: Just blow them off.

“We are in a late republican period,” he added, alluding to weakness in the ancient Roman Republic. “If we’re going to push back against it, we have to get pretty wild, and pretty far out there, and go in directions that a lot of conservatives right now are uncomfortable with.”

His interviewer, Jack Murphy, prominent in the right-wing pro-masculinity world, agreed and said, “Among some of my circle, the phrase ‘extra-constitutional’ has come up quite a bit.” Mr. Murphy said it was necessary “to become a little more robust in our behavior” in order to “refound the country,” and Mr. Vance responded, “That’s exactly right.”

The Heritage Foundation is here to help restore confidence by reducing leftist interference in everyday administration. This is a laudable goal and should be undertaken this year if possible.
Sometimes I think that people who think like you should get those policies and live under them and see how it is when the rights that you enjoy at the moment are stripped away from you personally. They won't just target the people you don't like they will be your rights that are taken away.

I know that your primary motivation here is to troll people but you're going to end up in a situation where your trolling is going to end up fucking you personally, your country and lots of people globally.

But I actually like the USA and I personally think that a healthy and functioning USA is good for you, your allies and the rest of the world, and those policies would reduce your country to the level of a third world country eventually. The global disruption that that would spark off would be horrendous.

Does this plan include installing a candidate for President not chosen by a party's voters? So much for fighting for democracy.

lol you’ll find out in a couple of months exactly what democracy looks like. Get your trolling in now because you’ll be back in your hole crying, rolled up in a corner wrapped with your massive go Brandon banner, like the brain dead cult member you are.

The trolls are scared because the brownie is coming for them and their lead based paint chips infested brains. Notice they don’t address the project 2025 per evil because they are evil. They live in a fantasy of their own delusion.

Harris is mentioning Project 2025 when a reporter asks what she's having for lunch. A candidate with ironclad message discipline is refreshing.

Yeah I never understood why politicians let the press dictate the conversation when they ask about pointless things or even ask about their opponents. You either ask me about my policies or compare/contrast my opponents policies but don’t ask me stupid shit like what am I wearing, or what do you think about what your opponent said.

Definitely keep hammering this 2025 horseshit, and keep hammering abortion. Trump and Vance will hopefully have to keep answering questions and addressing both over and over again. Either they own them--as they actually do--publicly (which likely hurts them with independents) or they they try to distance themselves from them (which likely gets the Maga types upset). Getting more independents out to vote, or creating more discouraged Magas that might not vote, sounds like a win-win.

I think the clear plan to pivot the campaign to "freedom" generally is pretty smart especially in this context. Republicans want to give you no choices and make your lives worse is a comprehensible argument to regular voters.

Biden and Harris were chosen by the voters as a ticket.

It does include local Republicans being able to throw out votes based on flimsy fraud claims.

It does include disbanding NOAA. Are you comfortable with Trump issuing official hurricane forecast maps?

The process of moving from Biden to Harris as the candidate now is the exact same outcome that would LEGALLY take place if something were to happen to Biden between the election and inauguration day.

Look a candidate choosing not to accept a nomination is a coup. What's not a coup is when you try to get your VP to throw out an election you lost.

Not sure how the libtards here don't get that obvious distinction.
