Hello friends, I wanted to say that I have a problem.

I have a Phenom II 965 C3, which I want to boost to 3.9GHz or 4.0GHz (3.9GHz I was stable at 1.425v with LLC disabled, but I gave up 1.520v peaks! in full load with IBT or Prime95!!).

Seeing the problem I came to 1.520v, I enable the LLC to 53%, and now at idle and full if not exceed 1.416v (1.450v put in the BIOS), so I think I have Vdrop truth?

My question is: I have to think much more gradually increase the vcore in the BIOS, and what matters is what tells me the CPU-Z?

Regards and thanks!

When you increase the percentage of LLC it should reduce the voltage drop during load. What are the other settings for LLC? On my Sabertooth I used a combination of voltage and LLC settings to get to my desired voltage. I used second highest setting to get 1.488V under load. If I use the highest setting I would get 1.5-1.51V. I use offset voltage so I can't really tell what voltage is in the BIOS. But my voltage adjustment was like this - increase offset, check under CPU-Z, increase/decrease LLC level to arrive at a voltage that is lower than 1.5V.

I tried several options LLC (let me choose the %), but the higher the LLC, unless minimum and maximum voltage gives me.
