I'm going to put an ad out in my local paper and supermarket for PC repair services, and I'm looking for known working components for diagnosing hardware.

Specifically:
DDR and DDR2 RAM sticks and SO-DIMMs. Size and speed do not matter.
Got DDR SO-DIMMS from Gillbot
AM2, S775 and S478 motherboards.
Low-end CPUs for said motherboards.
I no longer need Socket 478 CPUs, now.
Heatsinks for said motherboards.

Any contributions are welcome and valued.

Dell Latitude D600 for parts. It's in a sorry state: LCD is cracked, system does not boot. Owner told me that it used to work until dropped. I found two rubber bumpers flexing the memory SODIMMs towards the motherboard, so the motherboard may have had some issues before.
Keyboard is known to have a non-functioning backspace key.
What should work: Intel 2100 802.11b mini-PCI WiFi. Pentium M 1.5GHz (I opened it to check the CPU, reporting from memory). Battery. Fan. CD-ROM drive. 2 X 256MB DDR SODIMMs.
AND - the top cover is machined aluminum!

Free for the cost of shipping.

Do you know if the battery for Latitude is the same as the Inspiron? If so, I'll take the whole thing.
