µRack webpage v0.0001 is online

Hi everybody!

I just want to let You know, that the first version of my new µRack webpage ist online.
Just in case some of You remember my webpage about The CrackRack, this one will have much more content.
This first public version ist the first step on a long way to a (hopefully) quite intresting webpage.
Version 0.0001 has one webcam (2 more are planned) and a history page for it.
Unfortunaly I stil don't have my DSL connection to the net so the webpage is somewhat slow (64KBit/s) but this will change in a few weeks.

I would be happy about to hear your feedback.

The URL of my webpage is magic.darktech.org

BTW: it is very likely that You won't see very much for a few hours fram now on, because I'm going to bed in an hour or so.

The Magicman: Great idea! 🙂😀 Since I am away from home most of the time that would be a great way to check on things. Besides a camera, what does it take to be able to view data from a web cam? I really don't want a site up, but would like to be able to access it. I have a cable modem at that loction.

I'm using a Shareware (I'll register it soon) version of WebCam32.
and the IIS of my Win2K server.
There are a few good free/shareware webservers around, but I decided to stick with microsoft.

Oh, you don't have to runn a full/public website.
You can run it at an uncommon port (snething like port 41739 or so) and/or request user authorisation to access it.
