£6000 car wash.

How are the customers idiots? Let them spend their money (which they obviously have plenty of) however they want.

Plus, idiots cant usually afford million dollar cars.

That's pretty old - I remember reading about this at least 5 years ago. Monster cables have a lot to learn from this guy.

Just because you can does not mean you should. Yeah they can do whatever they want, but that doesn't mean it's not stupid or frivolous.

Washing car in direct sunlight. Instant fail.

Care to elaborate? I'm kinda lost.

Try it some time and you will know why. 🙂

P.S. Baked,
The sun light intensity in Britain pales in comparison to what we experience in the US so it's not that big of a deal there.

You got somethin' against car washes? It certainly isn't stupid to wash a car, and hardly frivolous when the cars cost more than the house you probably live in. This is a drop in the bucket compared to what the maintenance is for those cars anyways.

I'm not arguing against car washes, I'm arguing against bajillion dollar car washes and bajillion dollar cars themselves. 😉 It's just excessive and wasteful in general.

We have a lot bigger problems to worry about if that's the case

this is the point where someone says either "they have money, they can spend it how they want" or someone else says "researching cutting edge like that helps the rest of us, and bless them for buying it" etc.

The dude found a niche, and it was interesting to watch. I wouldn't pay that much, but that's cause my car is only worth about that that much.

Oh, you'd be surprised.

Maybe if washing it with soap is all you are going to do with it. If you plan on going it all over with detailing clay and buffing it all then waxing it, it doesn't matter where you wash it.

If you owned a million-dollar car, would you seriously bring it through a gas station auto-wash? Fuck no.

No, but you don't need to spend this kind of money either. There are options in between.

He's a genius, the customers are idiots.

You're obviously not familiar with what it takes to keep a $1M car looking brand new. In fact, guys like this can have a car looking better than new if they're thorough enough. If you had a rare, exotic car, would you bring it to the local drive-through car wash? If so, then you, sir, are the idiot 😛

Thats a Maserati MC12.
Its stupid to NOT get the best possible cleaning you can find.

Hell, it probably helps with the aerodynamics and gives him a little extra speed.

I want to learn how to do this so very, very badly.

@#$@#$ being a stock analyst when I can make twice as much polishing Bugattis!

If I had wads of cash rolling out of my arse like some of these folks do I might spend some of it frivolously 🙂
