£300 video card?

my 9800xg2 has gone pop so I need to replace it. With a £300 budget what would people go for.. 260 sli or 4870x2? I have a 780i mobo so can not xfire only sli. Or maybe a 285???

Assuming prices are similar there that is $440 here. At that price I would go with the 4870x2 no doubt. Or wait for the 4980x2 which is coming, it isn't just a rumor. Unfortunately I don't have a date for that yet.
