I use Rfactor alot and COD4/5 and run at quite high res's and AA. I get a little lag and I believe it's probly the Vcard (as you go higher in res the CPU matters less and less)

I am little out of touch with the video card form guide at the mo...

I prefer Nvidia cards but whats my best bet for £150? thats about 245.761 USD.

Cheers guys

GTX275 would be the best nVidia pick in that range, they're normally around 200-225USD, but I think the better bet would be an ATI 4890 if you're willing. They perform about the same (I think 4890 may even be a bit ahead) but you can regularly find the 4890 for around $180

Your welcome :)

OverClockers 'Deal of the Week' (updated every Weds - i check it religiously lmao!) is pretty hard to beat in the UK, they always seem especially good value for GPUs (in comparison to Ebuyer) sometimes Scan have some decent deals aswell. This particular 4890 is awesome value and from a well regarded brand in XFX. Would be tempted myself, but i game very little over the summer - so will hold off untill the next gen offerings.

I'm not very experienced when it comes to PSUs but i can tell you that i'm very happy with my Corsair 520

Let us know how you get on.

PSU - Corsair 520HX or 620HX if you want modular, 650TX if you don't mind stuffing the extra cables into an open bay or whatever.
