I felt it was ponder worthy.

The part about pissing off really hit me in the gut. I then fully pondered the hypothesis and conclusion. I don't know if I necessarily agree that letting something sink in is equivalent with pondering though. Chewing on it for a minute is certainly closer to pondering as it conveys a sense of action as opposed to passively letting something sink in and I almost had come up with a fully formulated response but the full stop killed the moment and I was left posting the usual gibberish that I fall back on when I lose focus.
