login problems

I have a nasty virus I'm trying to deal with so I switched to safe mode then restarted my laptop. My pc started but the usual login option is gone. There's no way for me to sign in. I tried different keyboard combinations but nothing. I attached a picture to show you what I mean, hope it helps...

This has been an issue for a few weeks. During boot up, my network does not connect to the internet, so I cannot log in to windows, (Win 7 checks password against live.com). The only idea I have is bonjour.exe is using the connection during boot-up. Does anybody have any suggestions? I'll try...
