Guys,
I managed to OC the CPU to 4.3 via ASUS's software. I got 100C! But ASUS software mentions that when using Prime95, Aida etc, you may see extremely high temps. Should I tests this setting with Far Cry 3 for instance and check the temps? Is there apossibility to reach load conditions...

Guys,
found the correct settings for prime95 i think.
Anw my temps reached almost 90C. I think I might have a problem if I overclock...My PC case doesn't seem to be air vented properly...
I think that in my case, Prime95 works differently compared to Intel's utility. I mean rime 95 may use tests that torture the CPU with different kind of operations and despite the fact that it loads to 50-60%, in reality is stressed more.
Guys I came across a weird situation. I stress test the CPU with intel tuning utility. At 100% load the temps rise up to 68-70. With Prime95 and under 50-60% load, i get temps of 78-80C. I just don't get it :)
Thank you all for your replies. Yesterday I noticed a terrible mistake. I placed the fans of the CPU cooler to blow downwards instead of upwards into the case! Now I get 3-4 degrees lower temps. Still while running Prime95, my CPU hits 63% load and temps rise to 80C. How can I set Prime95 to...
Ok guys thanks. I'll give it a good testing before buying anything else like case fans and watercooled CPU heatsink. I will have to also "experiment" with my motherboard settings for overclocking right? Shall i delete motherboard software though?
I'm considering the delid option but I know it is very risky one right? I dont really want to play games but I may run 4-5 VMware machines for my job purposes so I dont know if overcloking is really needed here...I like the Hydro option but I spent an amount of money for the air coller for the...
Dear all,
on the link below I have decribed my more general problem. Can you help me out there?

Guys,
After 5 years I built a new Haswell PC. I have some issues and questions for the experienced here so please be patient with my post :)
1) I bought the below heatsink for the CPU (I use Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste, I don't know if I applied correctly but I used the pea size amount in...
I have z87-deluxe mothrboard. It supports 4 fan controllers and 2 cpu fan controllers. Regarding the 4 case fans, the three are reporting their speeds and the other one doesnt. The two of them run at about 1000RPM and the other at about 600RPM and the GUI shoes the speed in Red.
Dear all,
I have one question regarding my case fans. I have an old Coolemaster Cosmos case. It came with 4 fans before 5 years i bought it (never replaced them yet). The connectors have 3 wires only (I assume the PWM cable is missing here?)
In BIOS or in FanXpert application in windows...
Thank you guys. I decided to connect an HDMI cable from my motherboard to the HDMI in port of the monitor. But now I dont have any options on how to connect my PC with my TV to watch movies there because my TV has only HDMI in connections. Any suggestions there?

Dear all,
I've bought a new Z87 motherboard to support Haswell. My monitor cable lead has a DVI connector. The motherboard though doesn't have a DVI input. What are the best options?
a) Display Port on motherboard -> DVI?
b) HDMI on motherboard -> DVI?
c) Internal PCI-E card which has DVI...
It is the 1GB version guys regarding the GPU. Noob question: Do you really need a GPU for HTPC or is it CPU demanding only? I think I'll go with the old GPU. The only concern is the DX11 no support from the card? Would it be needed if I don't play any games?
Thank you
Dear all,
I would need your help with some questions I have. I have updated my system to Haswell. I'm not a gamer and probably I'm not going to play any games and my old graphics card bought back in 2009 is an ATI Radeon 4870. What do you recommend. Is it better to plug my old GPU to the...
