Hi
Currently awaiting a refund for my 23" 1080p IPS monitor and I'm thinking about forking out a few hundred dollars on top and getting a 27" 1440p monitor. I believe IPS would be better than 120hz in my case as I'm not really heavy on the online FPS/racing games.
I just have a few...
I can now confirm the problem is with the monitor as it just happened when the laptop was connected.
Also tried 3 different hdmi cables and 2 different hdmi ports and it didn't change anything.
Is it likely to be a problem with the monitor itself or the power adapter?
Hey.
Used the monitor with a laptop for a day and the glitch didn't come up, been using the pc again for 2 days and it hasn't happened either.
It's just a very annoying problem to troubleshoot because it happens at random and it doesn't come up with 3dmark/furmark/games.
I'll wait for the...
Cheers for the help.
I don't have another monitor to use but I'll try using a laptop with the monitor.
The problem starts happening randomly so it could be 5 minutes or 10 hours... I'll let you guys know later.
Been doing some more troubleshooting.
The problem fixes itself temporarily when I reset the monitor via the menu, and then later on the same problem will happen even though I didn't change anything.
So it has to be a monitor problem, although I'm not sure if that would be the actual monitor or...

I built a new pc a few weeks ago and I've got this annoying problem which looks graphics card related? I recorded this 4 second video (random youtube vid) with an iphone because it doesn't capture it when I record the screen with software and it...
I'm trying to play GTA III/Vice City with a PS2 controller but the right stick is inverted (up is down, down is up) which was normal back then I believe.
Is their any way to reverse this?
Also I have all my case fans on silent mode via the bios as it's too loud having them on standard or higher.
Fan for the Hyper 212 Evo is a Noctua F12.
I've overclocked my i5-4670k to 4.1ghz with the voltage set to 1.155v and I had a BSOD after an hour on prime95 running blend test. I changed this to 1.157v, 1.160v, 1.162v and even 1.165v and yet I'm having the same problem, the longest I've had prime95 running before BSOD was 6 hours @ 1.160v...
Hi.
Just wondering if I'm supposed to change the voltage to adaptive when I've found the right multiplier/voltage/temp?
Or does it stay on fixed?
Thanks.
Hi.
I bought the ASUS GTX 670 which is factory overclocked from 915mhz base 980mhz boost to 980mhz base 1058mhz boost.
This is my first build so I'm just wondering if I should be overclocking it further or is this fine as it is?
Thanks.
First build and overclock, I've just been changing the cpu ratio and voltage via the Z87 bios. I also changed the RAM to 1600 before starting if that makes a difference.
The i5-4670k is 4ghz @ 1.125 voltages (lowest it will go before BSOD). The temps I'm getting are 75 degrees max on prime95...
The fan that comes with the hyper 212 evo has been very loud in my experience (running at around 1300RPM).
Any suggestions for a replacement fan that's quiet and also performs well?
First build, just wondering if this cable management is good enough?
Will be getting cable ties tomorrow for the mobo, gpu, cpu and case headers which should make it a bit better.
Thoughts?
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO
RAM: Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
Just wondering if there's enough clearance for this to work?
What do you mean?
PC is my preference for most games but I had heard some really bad things about these two.
GTA I'll be getting for the PC going by this thread but still not sure about SR2, have heard people say it's the worst port ever lol.
Thanks for the replies btw.
