I have a clawhammer and now after so many trial and errors and a new motherboard, it is running at 2.84 @1.62@33c idle 41c load.
*update*
(i got my video cards ocled, thanks to some of the folks here using coolbits) anything past 472/1.11 after 15 mins of playing F.E.A.R with all eye candy...
Just got my new msi k8n neo 4 sli and will be setting up 2x bfg 7800gt oc which channel is better for raid 0? on my neo2 plat channel 3-4 were able to overclock while 1-2 did not. is it the same situation here ?
thanks
got my new board and graphics yesterday but to find out my power supply is a 20 pin not sli certified. well looking at some ps this one is available at a local store.
I read at another forum about an issue with the asus boards. well i got the msi neo4 sli with dual bfg 7800 gt and im wondering...
I just flashed my bios to 1b, my computer will not boot with the same settings I've been running for the past 5 months.
I lower everything back to defaults and no problem.
which bios would you reccomend past 1.8 which I was running before, but temps were to accurate.
Thanks
I getting a new mb and memory and vieo card already decided on the dfi lanparty ultra and the ocz vx gold series memory I will keep my current cpu (fx55)
which video card should i get ?
Thanks
My OCZ memory in the bios setup reads 245mhz (im running it @1:1) but when I boot to windows cpuid reads 233 mhz for memory frequency. this is the first time it happends.
My fx-55 is running@ 2.81 ghz
why is this happening ?
I'm getting this msg:
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.
and this one:
FATAL ERROR: Resulting sum was 512366299258014.5, expected: 512366298078364.7
Hardware failure detected,
what could this be ?
Enough to justify the overclocking of the memory ?
In real world games and applications does it make a difference ?
I was able to overclock my memory to 257x11 with no crashes (thanks to a matrix that I found here)
Benchmark of Ram Bandwith are in the 7140 range (sandra)
but what does this...
what would be the best setting for this memory when im running an fx-55 oc to 2.71 gigs @13x210. it seems to be the highest i can go. memory is @2.5/4/10/3 t1 on an msi k8n neo2 platinum
any help ?
Thanks
