I certainly do report crashes when they happen. I didn't realize Firefox was really supposed to be uber-stable. Probably conflicting with an open app.
I have noticed a flaw with "Session Saver" in FireFox. I thought it would be safe to disable the "are you sure you want to close the window...
Hmm... I was going to add an opinion to "Session Saver" on Mozilla Update, but I don't see an option to rate it in anyway... how do you do rate things there?
This is where it is: (or you can go Tool>Extensions>Get More>"Search for session saver")...
Thank you Bersl!!!
Never thought there was an extension for saving your sessions. I found an unrated extension called "session saver". Forced FireFox to end task and it remembered my sessions! Can't wait to see how it works in a "real" crash situation.
Now FireFox is still my number 1. :op
I guess because I make HEAVY use of tabbed browsing by having more than a dozen news sources open at one time (my.yahoo) and opening 30 tabs in a minute that I experience a lot of crashing. While such heavy tabbing is not the norm, it's very convenient till one of those tabbed openings crashes...
I was wondering what other browsers or modifications are out there that helps to alleviate the stress of a browser crash.
While I absolutely love Firefox vs plain Jane IE I am finding Firefox a little too crash prone and it is incredibly frusrating when you open your 8th news tab and it...
There needs to be a date range on these!!!

Koss Portapro headphones are nice and the KSC-35s look good. I'm expecting the Koss KSC-35s really soon. They're more portable/convenient (clip on ear style) with same driver as the portapro.
Here's a link to Headphone.com's review on the KSC-35 KSC opinion . If you scroll to the bottom you...
Any one know how I can get power management to save settings? Now that I want to change the settings back to what they were before it isn't saving. I can apply and the settings work fine till I restart my computer... then it's the old settings.
Any help would be great. Thnx.
Stephen
Any one have any suggestions for a good pair of headphones that could block out enough heavy machinery so that you can listen to music at a volume that won't help to damage your ears?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you used WinMe and have a decent system you would see that it does indeed load faster. It does for me and I haven't taken a smidge of standard MS stuf out.
For anyone who knows their computers intmately. WinMe should go fine at the "second" installation.
Anyone who thinks their...
Just think of WinMe as Win98 with a little more added features, but the beginning of the end of DOS.
I love some of the added features. Not the ones Microsoft touts, but the small ones they don't bother bringing up.
You can always use a DOS patch to bring DOS back if needed.
I've had to restart my system quite a few times from installations and now I'm sorely missing my shift key reboot.
Is there a new key combo or is it really gone???
Thanks for any help.
Sound was working fine at first.

Well I read that Creative isn't supporting the Awe64 software wise and decided to just try it out. Well as the soundfont software didn't work I just uninstalled.
ACK!
Okay the drivers are installed and look fine, but now in Sound/Multimedia everything is...
Though it really doesn't seem too different from Win98, it does load faster and seem to run faster on my system course I'll see about that after I get everything loaded up.
I love THUMBNAIL view.
I love the Start Menu customizations!
I love folder customizations!
It's the little things in ME...
That doesn't do a thing for me to fix my button problem, but thanks for showing me that new option. OE reusing windows was always a problem for me.
I'm thinking that I'll just have the button do something else.
Thanks,
Stephen
What I mean is that whenever you run IE5 by way of shortcut or directly a new window will always open if you currently have one open.
A program that I use runs IE5 for me by way of a button, BUT the button will only run one instance of IE5 and if pressed again will switch to that original...
I have a panel on my monitor with an internet button which can link to any program/file (anyone know how to specify dial-up locations as the folder is unbrowsable?), BUT Linking to IE5 will start IE5, clicking the button a second time will not load IE5, but return me to the original window...
"If it ain't broke don't fix it."
If the Win95 tweakUI runs fine for you and the Win98 one doesn't then just stick to the 95 one.
I find that TweakUI 98 doesn't seem to function well with Win98SE.
Anyone know if there is an updated version for SE in particular?
