Nazgul9,
I'm having similar problems with my motherboard too. I can't set the memory speed to 533mhz (giving a 1:1 ratio) and overclock my E6400. The FSB has to be set to 800mhz (giving a 2:3 ratio), and this limits the overclocking potential because my memory (2gb PC 6400 Geil 4-4-4-12)...
I have the exact same problem with my PNY Ti4200 64mb card. There were no problems initially with my ECS KS5A Pro board. When I switched over to the MSI KT4 Ultra board (KT400 chipset), the problems started. Also, when I was installing a fresh copy of windows, the video was fine until I...
They are 200 watts.
The sub is 130 watts and the 2 satellites are 35 watts each, totaling 200 watts. Go back and tell the Best Buy manager that he's the fool and get your pricematch.
If anyone wants, I have a brand new Sennheiser HD-265 closed dynamic headphone for sale. These babies retail at $249, but the lowest price on the web is $190 brand new. If anyone's intersted, I'm selling them for $130 shipped insured. PM me if you're interested or want to make an offer.
Man...this has SCAM written all over it. Can notebook chipsets even handle 4.5 GB of ram. You can tell that these are just some idiots trying to rip people off. They even advertised 4.5 GB of SDRAM for a Pentium IV...everyone knows that Pentium IV only supports DDR SDRAM or Rambus. Have you...
I'm still waiting on 2 $50 rebates for 2 seperate Visiontek Geforce 3 Ti200 purchases. I'm still waiting for the $50 rebate from the BestBuy thanksgiving sale!!!! And another from the Gateway purchase about 2 months ago!!! Making a deal with these Visiontek rebates is like playing Russion...
This is mild. What's hot is the Kingston PC100 ram that were made with Infineon chips. I got 3 128mb sticks for about $30 a pop....Tested them to run 143 Cas 2. And I got these a 2 months ago from buy.com
Yea...the Geforce 3 isn't worth the money right now...maybe in 9 months when the technology is actually implemented in the software. So, buy a Geforce 3 ultra ($310 shipped) or Geforce 64mb ($200 shipped). Go here Geforce Ulras for sale and buy my video cards at these low prices.
Man....I bet everyone that in about 6 months...Nike will revise their shoe return policy because many people will abuse this once everyone knows about it.
so the rebate is good for the 12x4x32 Drive? I am waiting to open mine until I get a reliable answer. Anyone 100% positive that the rebate is good? (and got it from a CompUSA corporate manager?....not a CSR)
Hmmm...I called CompUsa corporate and one CSR told me the rebate is good for the 12x4x32 drive and another one told me no. I don't know if I should keep this drive...because if the rebate doesn't work, it's not that great of a deal. Can anyone confirm w/ proof.... just in case 6 weeks down the...
I think around 29-31 normal and 34-36 running half life. My MSI 6309 has 3 temp probes and I'm using motherboard monitor to see the temp. I don't really know what each probe is for and I'm just guessing that the highest temp is the cpu temp.
Thanks
I have a PIII 550e o/c to 733. What is the normal operating temp range? My cpu runs at 30-32 degrees celcius under normal conditions and run up to 41 degrees celcius running games (counterstrike and red alert 2). Is this normal? Also, anyone have experience with the real world performance...

8MB of buffer? That's enormous. I think with that much buffer, who needs burnproof!!! Anyone have any experience with LG electronics? are they reliable? I'd like to get one if the drive is reliable.
why even buy this for $230? I'd rather buy an athlon thunderbird at the same clock speed and a mobo for the same price. The athlon thunderbird is fast as or faster than the PIII anyways. Wish I could get rid of my 550 o/c to 733 PIII and its mobo (msi 6309) to get an athlon. Anyone...
Hey, I can get these from an egay seller for about $120-$130 shipped if I buy like 6 cards at once. The card is made by Visiontek, and from what I hear, Visiontek makes the Elsa Gladiac cards too. Email me at chopin@mail.utexas.edu if you are interested. I just need like 6 people...and no...
You better make sure you can send copies of UPC codes. I did an officemax rebate once and used copy of a UPC code; In the end, the rebate company won't give me my rebate, even though the officemax CSR said it was okay to use copies. The rebate company is Young America.
I ordered the Kingston PC100 128MB from the staples pricematch with buy.com. The ram staples sent out are infineon chips...people say they can do 140-145 Mhz Cas2!!!! And you don't have to hassle with the $20 rebate.
69.95 ram buy.com pricematch
11.95 logitech internet keyboard buy.com...
This is in response to Fatdragonn's post. I would really like one of those 256MB Kingston ram modules at cost plus shipping. But to ask everyone something, wasn't there a limit on the number of modules you can buy? Fatdragonn said he bought 6 or 7. I thought the limit was like 3. Let me...
If you go to aureal.com, there is a notice that creative is taking over the company. I bet you the creative will implement the A3D technology and give us Vortex2 owners some updated drivers. I've used the creative soundblaster live and the Vortex2 chipsets, and the Vortex2 beats the creative...
I have two of these. I'll sell each of them for $30 shipped. These boards have been checked to boot up. These will run Celeron II 566 and with a quality slocket with voltage support. you can email me at thoaibui@yahoo.com
I need really need help on this one guys. I purchased a Sony SCSI Spressa CDR and now the eject button won't eject the caddy. I got this for christmas last year. I called the Sony CSR and they required that I have a copy of the warranty card. I have the original receipt, but they still...

that is not a good price. You can get a 4x record, 4x rewrite, and 24x read for about 100 and if you look around, an 8x record, 4x rewrite, and 24x read for 130-140 shipped.
