This drive's at an excellent price for its silent and cool operation, perfect for servers, and no one is going to notice any drop in speed vs, let's say, a WD with 16MB.
So if you want cheaper wait 3 years and then buy one.
I've got a Foxconn with 865PE on the way. Per the website, overclocking features include adjustable memory timings and ratios. Logically this means it should have pretty decent FSB increment, but only time will tell. Looking to add a mobile P4 1.6 or 1.7 whichever turns out cheaper. But did...
It's to choose NTSC or PAL. BTW do you happen to know whether the all-in-wonder have a DIP switch like that? I have been googling it forever to no avail.
It's a 128 mb drive and I also posted earlier about a concern for read-only un-deletable files. I agree with you M$ would probably do something like that. We shall see if it ever gets here, it's been 4 weeks since I went in for one.
Silly me, of course the a priori scale in your brain is more accurate than the scientific one Chenbro itself used to spec its product. What was I smoking.
I pointed you to the spec sheet, so unless it's bogus (doubtful since they are most familiar with the case, having made it...
Why would I do that? It's a waste of time. I already know they are putting 23 lb. into the UPS calculator when the box cannot possibly weigh more than 21, because that's WITH a power supply, per the mfr website. My ballpark of 15 lb. only goes to demonstrate the inflation on the weight, and...
didn't you know stamp glue is an ingredient in the secret formula?
all kidding aside, aren't stamps self-adhesive? why would you lick stamps? did you mean envelopes? i agree with diet's bad aftertaste, actually i find i don't like a lot of diets, namely dr pepper, diet 7up, diet sprite, diet...
From your post I gathered Pepsi distributes (some) Dr Pepper, but they still don't MAKE it, so *technically my post is entirely correct. However I didn't know they distribute the product so it's possible (but not the case evidently) that they could have a surplus of Dr Pepper. By the way I...
Yeah but we nitpickers are saying it's been about this cheap for a long time ($53 at the Egg in December when I was last considering it), so the fact is not surprising/new/hot by our definition.
Martin Logans :wink;:P
Well it is going to depend on your budget and the sonic signature of whatever receiver or amp you decide to run. Since you bought the Omni sub why not have a look at the rest of the Omni lineup (although diffuse sound is not for everyone).
There's no way the case without a PSU weighs 20 lb. I looked at the shipping calculator ($18 to chicago btw  ) and it quoted 23 lbs. gross weight. Well according to the Official Product Specs this case WITH a 350W power supply comes in at 9.4*2.2 = 21 lb (rounded up). Subtract a 6...
Uh... yes. Quite a bit actually, as illustrated by my several lengthy posts in this once-relevant but now highly deviant thread. The 'discussion' is no longer about, in fact now it is far from being about, a hot deal on the Mirage Omni S12 and therefore it should be moved or locked.
If you...
All the sueded sportcoats that I saw were actually polyester  But three or so weeks ago when I first saw this sale I picked up leather gloves lined with Thinsulate for $6 (down from $40)
A pretty good and common one. Man advises woman that she is fat and could use some exercise. He is automatically an a-hole and can't appreciate what's on the inside. Woman advises man he is fat and should exercise: it's for his/his family's/their sex life's own good, and he just hates to hear...
Sweet deal OP
btw check out the aluminum microATX case on the right in "related items" - toolless but no front ports as far as I can tell, and WTF molded floppy?!
ADDENDUM: LOL also in the description for this alum it lists NET weight 6.6 kg GROSS weight 5.6 kg!!!! Also 5.6...
it says 300 continuous so I bet it's 400+ peak watts. FSP is solid and this spec is more than enough for HTPC. But the description is confusing, first it says 120mm exhaust fan, then it says dual 92mm on the PS, then a 92mm for the case fan... I don't think you get a 120mm
EDIT...
I third the votes on Pho- we had it in Mishawaka (by ND/South Bend) all the time. One of my best buddies in school ran the Viet Student Association and he would make pho, spring rolls, etc. for their on-campus events. I swear the guy carried an emergency bottle of hoisin sauce in his shoe.
Regardless, dece prices if you can put up with MIR. There are also a couple of silver optical mice for free AMIR. The low stock as I see it doesn't make these cold; an OEM 1900XT at newegg for a good ass price is still hot even if there are only 2 available. Plus if you are desperate just...
Link 1GB
Link 512MB
eCost has $2 shipping on orders over $25 so with the 512 just add on something like an optical mouse or Sennheiser earbuds @ $5. Not bad and it's a great company- I ordered a few things from them in the past and ne'er a problem.
Please no flames if you don't like...
Agreed- the mere existence of a port/ports will not in itself ruin the woofer over time; poor design or more typically, amplifier clipping will. Inexperienced users who turn their subs all the way up will "bottom out" the woofer, or really, tax the amp to the point that it can no longer control...
That's a matter of taste and although I kept and should keep my personal opinion out of it, the fact is many people will prefer the Mirage's silver accents and of course the script logo- this is the nature of today's average electronics consumer. If it were me and I only had a choice between...
Interesting is that the SVS weighs at 60 lb. with a 10" woofer and NO crossover versus the mirage (12", x-over) at 51 lb. But for practical purposes the Mirage might be better for both the average and enthusiastic user. For example the SVS without its crossover is intended strictly for home...
