coz the VGA RAM is shared memory.
according to what I know the vga can do quite well at quake3 demo.
more share memory it's mean more RAM u gonna need.
it's a KM133 chipset mobo with integrated S3 Savage Pro shared of course up to 64 MB and also comming with Advance logic sound card.
what I know this board it's a very good board for general user..but for gamer I don't think so.
it's a very great mobo with great price from ECS.
it's sell around...
it's impossible for you to do O/C with Intel Motherboard Tornado54.
I believe you can use RadeonVE with your mobo.
For the future surely AMD 761 chipset will guarantee your investment.
you already got 133 FSB CPU jfrance so u can't increase your multiplier.
If u have 100 FSB CPU u can decrease still u can't increase in order to run 133 FSB.
so the only option u got is to increase your FSB to the limit I'm sure your memory can handle 150 Mhz above.
I suggest u better wait and stick with your old system coz 266/DDR not as good as it said.
ABIT KT7 can't support EV6 Bus (133 Mhz) so u need new mobo or ABIT KT7A or above.
if u stuck with AMD and VIA....u might consider Intel P4
well P4 surely still very expensive for most people I guess...sell around $300 for P4 1.3 + RDRAM 128MB..not mention the Mobo about $200 and also u need new power supply.
ya I agree just go to online store that sell O/C T-bird and the price may be a little bit higher but you will receive higher performance.
u can find it at pricewatch.com
about the code it seems AXIA stepping code very familiar among Overclockers.
I used Norton Utilities 2001 and running just fine
May be you install it not smoothly rpr.
you could update your Norton in order to fix it.
may be that will work.
according to some website included Anandtech...this AXIA code really a great O/C CPU.
I've AXIA T-bird too..and I'm still can't boost it as high as the website review, I wonder why ?
sound quality must be connected to your CD-R/CDRW quality too.
If u burn with Audio CD-R surely u will receive better sound quality
So I suggest u buy Audio CD-R in order to get better sound quality the price a little higher than the usual CD-R
