Now, would this happen to work on a bicycle? I got a D.U.I. about 2 months ago and would like to go back in time and stop myself from driving drunk on the way home from Marty's house.
According to current plans, Nvidia plans to introduce its Geforce 9 series high end part codenamed G100 around march 2008. Jump ahead to read the news post.

I can buy 2 HD3870's for 300 bucks total to go along with a dual core Opty running @ 3 Ghz. Btw, is it true that 2 3870's will give me the same performance as 1 8800GTX???
Would a dual core Opteron running @ 3 Ghz bottleneck 1 or even 2 HD3870 GPU's? It'd be great if I could hold onto my socket 939 motherboard and 2 gigs of DDR ram for another year. Anyone?
I'm planning on waiting until Far Cry 2 comes out before I upgrade. I'm hoping I can buy an 8800GTX for 200-250 by that time and maybe the 45nm Intel Quads for some good OC'n fun. I can find Q6600's for 200 bucks right now so who knows how much they'll be by March/April of 08.
I'm thinking about upgrading my rig around the time that Far Cry 2 is released. I already own a SLI-Ready PSU (630 watts max), a tower, hard drives, burners but will need a new motherboard, new CPU and a new GPU. I already have 2 gigs of DDR 2 laying around so I'm not worried about the ram...
The trade would be through a friend. Btw, would my single core opty hold back that GTS? I'll mostly be running games @ a resolution of 1024x768 since I own a 17" CRT. Would my SS get the job done better than a 7950 512MB since it's currently running @ 700/1800? Thanks.
I have a single core Opty running @ 2.85Ghz. I also own an EVGA 7900GT 256MB Signature Series videocard. I have the option of paying 150 dollars and trading in my 7900GT SS for an EVGA 8800GTS 320MB Superclocked videocard OR trading in my 7900GT SS for a EVGA 7950 512MB which runs as fast as my...
I decided to stick with my PS3 and ride out my 7900GT SS until next summer. I'll save up for a Quad Core CPU and Dual DX 10.1 cards and upgrade by next summer. Seems like the smarter thing to do especially with Vista x64 not really running games any better than XP. Thanks for all of your help.
Well I can eventually sell my 7900GT and my PS3 but what would be the point? I could buy the 8800 Ultra and sell it on Ebay for about 550 dollars, sit on the cash while I use my current card and buy a 9800 GTX when they're released.
He wants my PS3 60GB with an extra controller and a game. I really don't find myself playing it much since it just came out the must have titles aren't out yet. I plan on playing a ton of UT3 and COD 4 though. Be nice to max both out no prob but I also realize that they're both going to be on PS3.
I have not set up the receiver just yet. I have yet to even power it on. I'm still waiting on the optical cables which should be arrive either tomorrow or Thursday I'm hoping.
Anyways, so since I have a pretty big sub the Digital Pro Speakers should be fine correct? Also, do optical cables...
The sources will be a Playstation 3 and a DirecTV HD receiver. Also, I purchased the optical cables from Monoprice for about 4-5 dollars each. Not bad at all. =)
Almost forgot, I do have a sub. I'm not sure what brand it is but it's pretty huge.
I guess it would be smart for me to try both the tower speakers and Sony bookshelf speakers as my fronts. It would suck big time if the bookshelf speakers sounded better than the fronts though. Wish the optical cables I ordered would arrive any minute now. One last thing, would I notice an...
I now realize that folks were probably paying hundreds for these "ripoff" speakers but I only paid 100 dollars for the whole setup including the receiver. Anyways, they sounded pretty good so I'm hoping they won't give me any problems. Thanks for the tip btw.
Btw, here are the specs for my front speakers.
Rear Ported Bass Reflex Cabinet Design
Rich Black Finish
Minimum Power: 10 Watts
Maximum Power: 250 Watts
Dual Polypropylene 8? Woofers
Titanium Tweeter
Sensitivity: 91dB/1 Watt @ 1 Meter

The fronts are Digital Pro Audio Slim Line Towers (250 watts), Cambridge center speaker (center channel plus) and of course, Cambridge (The Surround II) or Sony bookshelf speakers (140 watts) as my rears.
I have a choice of using some pretty small Cambridge Soundworks The Surround II rear speakers or 2 brand new Sony bookshelf speakers (Model SS-MB215) which are about 5 times the size of the rears. The Sony bookshelf speakers also handle 140 watts. I'm not sure how many watts the rears can handle...
Thanks for the reply bsobel. I forgot to mention that a tiny high pitch noise was coming from my PC about 1-2 months ago. The noise would go away once I switched the PSU off. I also noticed that the PSU's fan does not appear to be working. Shouldn't the PSU fan always be running? After my PC...
I was using my computer late last night and I decided to get some sleep. I tried shutting my PC off but I accidently clicked on "sleep mode" instead. Fast forward 8 hours later and my PC fails to boot properly. I disconnected the power cord, flip the PSU switch off, plug the power cord back in...
I have a Buffalo WHR-G45S wireless router and I've successfully installed the DD-WRT firmware but I"m having trouble accessing my router. I followed the directions to a tee but whenever I type in 192.168.11.1 into my address bar, it's as if my router isn't even there. I've power cycled many...
I have a Buffalo WHR-G45S and I've successfully installed the firmware but I"m having trouble accessing my router. Whenever I type in 192.168.11.1 it's as if my router isn't even there. I've powered cycled many times and I've also released and renewed the ip. Btw, I'm able to reinstall the...
I have a PS3 console and I'm trying to hook it up to my Acer AL2216Wbd 22" lcd monitor. The monitor itself is not HDCP compliant so an HDMI to DVI cable is out of the question. I also would like to use my 5.1 computer speaker set but I have no clue as to how to go about hooking them up to the...
I own the Acer AL2216WBD and I'm very happy with it. The colors are fantastic, games never looked better and DVD movies look fine but you obviously can't expect plasma quality for 300 bucks can you? I've never personally noticed any ghosting which is awesome since the Acer is an upgrade over a...
Are you not suppose to connect the cable cord to a tv tuner? How does it get reception if it's wireless? If so, how close does my pc have to be to my cable box?http://www.buy.com/prod/kworld_usb_2_0_...mat/40/imgNum/1/202247133.html#moreimg
This sounds really tempting...... If I do for for the hard mod, I'd probably want to aim for 1.5 volts since I already have a 3rd party cooler installed on my card. I would want to hit 650/1800 for sure!
What kind of "pencil" would I need and if I do end up doing the hard mods, would I be able to "erase" the traces? I would not want to send my card back to the company hard modded just in case the card goes crazy on me.
