So.. the LG Flatron L1960TR is the very best LCD monitor out there for gaming to this date?
Is there a difference from L1960TR to L1960TR-BF?

I have already ordered the 831 model. I don't believe the air movement in the 832 is so much better that waiting another 2-4 weeks is worth it.

Hey.
As the topic says, i'm wondering if there is any reason for me to wait 2 weeks or more for the 832 model? As far as i can see, they are almost identical on the inside.
Any of you have any experience with these cases?

Got my Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP yesterday. Its a fantastic monitor for everything except FPS games. Like all other LCD monitors i've tried, this one is no exception. I guess i was kidding myself when i thought i could buy a LCD monitor that fill my gaming requirements.
I may be very picky, but...
I've ordered a GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R. Link
As you can see its a very cheap Mainboard, but got the highest score in several tests. What makes the more expensive mainboards, expensive? I mean, why pay so much more for a mainboard when you can get a cheap one that is just as good?
Anyway, Any...

I've been waiting this long, i guess i can wait 1-2 more months. I really appreciate all the help and pointers you've given me over the last 2 days. I think i'm gonna wait for the X38 boards. It's not like i need a new computer right now (22 july).
I got the following hardware right now...
Hey.
I'm building a new rig and i was wondering if you guys knew for sure any P35 boards it fits on or another equivalent cooler?
Also, is there any other cases except the Antec P182 with exceptional cooling that it will fit inside?
/Buckfutter.
If i'm gonna buy a P35 board, it need to work with the TT 120Ultra Extreme or equivalent cooler, and be a good overclocker. Any suggestions?
You're right. I don't realy need a SLI board as the G90/G92 GPU is being released soon.
I also have another question about PCI-E 1.0 vs PCI-E 2.0. I...
The thing is. I don't want to take any chances getting a B3-stepping Quad in the mail. If i order a E6850, i know it will be a G0. And as NicColt so nicely put it, i will most likely upgrade again in about 12 months time. By then the G0 Quads will be in stock everywhere.
/Buckfutter.
Thank you. I think i'm convinced to buy the E6850. Its been nagging my mind for quite some time now.
Should i go for PC2-8500 memory if i buy the E6850, or is the PC2-6400 ones good enough for overclocking?
I'm also still wondering if i should buy that insane CPU-cooler. Might get unlucky...
This is how my rig looks like now on paper:
Case: Antec P182 (I might get the Lian Li Miditower, Aluminium, Black PCA10B) [Its a Norwegian page, but the pictures speaks for themself. There is some reviews in english at the bottom of the page]
PSU: Enermax Galaxy 850W
Motherboard: Gigabyte...
You're right. The cheapest Geforce 8800 GTX card i can get my hands on costs 670$. The XFX Geforce 8800 Ultra XXX costs 985$. At least in Norway. The hardware is somewhat cheaper in the States.
Its quite a difference in price.
I've already "hit the send button" as you so nicely put it. The...
Ok. I've done some of your recommendations.
My budget is high, so no problems for me switching a couple of hardware parts.
I switched the Samsung SyncMaster 245B for the Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP one. Did some reading on it, and it sounds very promising. Actually i've already ordered it.
I...
Thanks for all the replies.
Yeah, the rig will be used for heavy gaming. I've read that Crysis and Alan Wake will take advantage of the quad core fully.
About the G0 stepping CPU's, there is no way i can know if i'm ordering a G0 stepping CPU or not. Its not like the web shops are...
Hey.
I was planing to purchase a new rig after 22. July when the prices drop and i was wondering.
As the topic says, i will be upgrading again after about 12 months as i usually do, and i was wondering what would be the best choice of Q6600 and the E6850?
You see, i have this 2 year...
