ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 - Socket 939 with PCI-E and real AGP and Socket AM2 upgrade path

I used to have an ASRock K7S8X board in my machine, which had an SiS 746FX chipset. I had it for slightly over a year, and I always had some minor problems with it. The onboard NIC had a MAC address of all zeroes, I had to fight with onboard sound, and I had some ACPI issues. However, the latter...

Should I reconsider buying a laptop with integrated graphics and no-widescreen?

That's something I've not tested, and if I'm lucky, I never will. So far, I've managed not to drop it or bang it. Honestly, I don't know how well it'll hold up to such things, so I don't know what to tell you.

Should I reconsider buying a laptop with integrated graphics and no-widescreen?

I have an M3, and I'm happy to say that I've had zero problems with it. The specs are perfect, the size is great (it could stand to be a little smaller, but the size is still great), it works perfectly, and on top of all that, it looks beautiful. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

How well would a Ti 4600 play UT2k4?

My GF FX 5200 Ultra (crappy card, I know, but I'm a very casual gamer...), on an AXP 2800+ Barton, plays UT2k4 fine at 1024x768, so I think any GF4 will play UT2k4 well, especially since my card is roughly equal to the Ti 4200. Heh...I remember the TNT2. My last machine (Athlon 800) had one...

Thin, Light, Powerful Notebooks (not ultraportable) opinions

I'd suggest a Toshiba Tecra M3. It's thin, light, and decently powerful. I have one of them, and I love it. Pentium M Dothan FSB533, choice of GeForce 6200 or 6600, Centrino wireless, under 5 pounds. Awesome notebook. It also works very well with Linux, if you're interested in that.
