netstat -e errors worth worrying about?

Just a quicky guys: over the past few days I was troubleshooting my moderately new GA-965GM-S2 after I noticed it was dropping some traceroute pings for no reason - if I did the same traceroute from the gateway/router the traffic was going through, nothing would be dropped. I eventually found...

    Resume question

From my experience with employers (at least here in New Zealand) just having a piece of paper with your name on it isn't going to do much - they want to know how you apply those skills in the workplace, not that you've sat in a seat for how ever many years.

How does Nissan compare to Toyota and Honda?

I wonder how much they paid for that to happen? Anyway, the critical thing you guys are missing is that Nissan is French (ie. stay away unless you're a bit masochistic).

SVCHost.exe taking 95-98% of cpu utilization - help

Here's a thread that goes into the problem in more detail as well as providing patches to hopefully prevent it from reoccuring if simply deleting doesn't work. There's also this from a Microsoft MVP about the problem.

    Domain configuration tutorials?

Recently got the evaluation version of Server 2003, so I thought I'd have a play with domains. I've got one set up and have been able to login as a client on another computer, but I was wondering if there were any tutorials available on the web that didn't involve purchasing one of Microsoft's...

SVCHost.exe taking 95-98% of cpu utilization - help

I had a similar problem. First, stop the automatic updates service (Start -> Run, "services.msc"), then delete the folder C:\windows\softwaredistribution. Restart computer or the service.

IBM / Lenovo Business practices HORRIBLE

Good luck. I know a School IT manager who had over 30 PIII machines that were issued with a TSB regarding bulging capacitors that he found out about a day after the TSB period ended. No amount of negotiating worked, not even the "I was planning to buy the...". Again, Good luck.

Cheapest way to fly to New Zealand?

Why do you want to come to New Zealand? The natives are going to be even more grumpy and surly than normal as their queen just died... I'd avoid coming until they have something else slightly less signifcant than that to be generally nasty about (maybe another debate about land rights)?

    Practical Network Booting

Recently I've been investigating network booting, and believe it would be of great assistance to what I do (small scale computer building).
