Hi All,
Just wanted to post a followup. We had a GREAT time at the award ceremony. It was a ton of fun, definitely had a Hollywood experience full of celebrity sightings and other fun and entertaining adventures. Best part, we WON the grand prize in the contest, which was a brand new flat...
Hi All,
I'll be out of town this week first on business then attending the award ceremony I mentioned earlier. It should be exciting. I'll come report back in about a week! Rumor is they will have invited some celebrities to the event as well.. I'm curious who that might be ;)
Well, the answer to your specific question of course, is that once the guy in front is going a certain speed, everyone behind him is forced to go that same speed. :D
Not sure if I can PM or not here... Just checking to see if biggestmuff saw the pics or no...?
Thanks everyone! It looks like the voting ends on Monday and I should find out Thursday if I'm the big winner or not, so I'll update you guys as soon as I learn! I GREATLY Appreciate your...
OK, surprisingly I don't have a lot of good pics. These are the best I could hunt down at the moment:
Mr. and Mrs. bwiest1 - pic1
Mr. and Mrs. bwiest1 - pic2
Thanks again everyone who's voting for us, appreciate it!
Thanks ;) The secret to being in the top 8, is to apply for a contest that doesn't have too many other submissions :) They had 16 submissions so our odds were 50-50 to be a finalist.
We didn't exactly do post-production voice-over, but by asking you probably noticed the audio was a little...
:D I appreciate both your honesty AND your vote. Thanks! :D Your reply made me and my wife laugh -- apparently more than our video made you laugh. Thanks for that!
Cool, thanks for letting me know. I admit it was tough to try to find a cool topic related to calculators. Appreciate the feedback! I've gotten a spread of responses from 'it was the BEST to it was the WORST'. Any suggestions to make it better?
That's awesome! I'll need to get you to send over your tetris file if you still have it ;) RPN is a dream come true, it's true. And converting back, as you note.... simply awful. It's like going back to a Kia once you drive a Mercedes.
Wouldn't we WANT the calculators to be doing all the...
Definitely, I know exactly what ya mean. When I was about 7 I used my dad's HP calculator to write out the entire multiplication tables up to 100x12 and gave it to my teacher. I didn't even get extra credit for it! I used HP calculators all the way through 3 college degrees, and am especially...
Not me. I grew up in Germany, where the driving age is 18 and penalties are pretty stiff. On the plus side, you can start drinking alcohol whenever you want... :D
Hi All,
My wife and I recorded this video for a contest sponsored by HP in celebration of their 35th anniversary of the calculator. We had a fun time making it, and ours was chosen as one of 8 finalists, so we won a trip to Hollywood to attend the 'HP Golden Calculator Awards'. Check it out...
Side-by-side eyeball comparison in my office (Our company buys only Dell ) gave universally similar results: The Dell color laser print quality is inferior to HP.
You ask many questions.
Hopefully these answers will help.
1. There are two links for latest software, what is officially supported, and what is open source. Here they are:
http://wrt54g.thermoman.de/
http://www.linksys.com/download/ (be sure to select the proper version of product)...
I just bought the WET54GS5 for ~$139 on sale, with pi/2 discount. Not bad really, it's not super hot but reasonably WARM for a wireless bridge sold for ~$150-$180 most other places.
Bridge it???? Please tell me more, can you use the firmware to convert a WRT54G into something more like a WET54G? This would mean the WRT54G could create a wireless bridge to talk directly to my broadband router.
Or do you need two WRT54G's talking to each other to make a bridge, then...
Hmm, as far as 5.8 up and 2.4 down, I really don't know about that. I looked at the user manual here:
http://www.motorola.com/mdirec...D681_User_Manual_E.pdf
And still couldn't find anything.
The CC website for this printer is down to $74.99, if you still have the $10 off $50 coupon from email then you can get this for $14.99 AR ($50). If you bought it earlier, consider pricematching the difference.
Outpost has the entire Internet Security suite of Norton for $50 after rebate. If you're not looking for the 'pro' features of Norton Antivirus this may be a better deal. Not sure about free shipping though.
Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience, can anyone post some more details of some of the other low prices? In particular, I'm interested in other PS2 games and DVDs.
Thanks!
You're right, I made a typo. the WGA11B is $69 at Amazon, and the WGA54G is $99 at Amazon.
Thanks for your reply and link, it seems the WGA54G is just a form factor rebadged WET54G in which case I should be quite happy with it.
I had a similar problem as you recently, turned out to be my (Linksys) router was getting hot (sandwiched between my print server and my Access Point). When I touched it I was surprised how hot it was. After rearranging my devices I haven't had the problem again. It may not be your issue but...
I'm trying to decide how to bridge a small wired network to my current Cisco Base Station. Right now, the only device on the wired network is my PlayStation2. However, I think I will like to add more devices, so I am looking for a wireless bridge that will support multiple simultaneous IP...
