Thought I'd ask the wisdom of the collective:
Today I received my 8800GTS 640MB evga that is going to replace my 7800GT evga on my X2 4400+ Windows XP Pro PC. What is the best way to go about it? Uninstall driver nvidia drivers and then uninstall or just uninstall?? Any tips??
TIA!
Frank
Hey gang,
thought I'd ask the collective for some advice. My 7800GT is starting to crap out (showing checkerboard patterns during some boots) and it's time to replace it. Here is my present system:
Antec P180, Asus A8N-SLI Premium, AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ with Scythe Ninja in passive...
Thinking about upgrading from an Athlon XP 3200+ to an Athlon XP X2 4400+. Both are socket 939, MB is ASUS A8N-SLI Premium with latest BIOS, so the hardware can handle it. XP Pro is installed on the system. Will I have to reinstall XP Pro or will it just install new drivers.
Thanks in advance!
