Anyone think more Objectivity is needed?

Every forum I've posted this in... the overwhelming response has been.. that HardOCP/Fudzilla/Bjorn3D are major problems. Overwhelming.. I hope Hard/Fud and Bjorn3D members have seen exactly the type of responses I've gotten. Cuz it don't look pretty towards them. I mean for pete's sake...

Anyone think more Objectivity is needed?

I'm thinking that "WE" the consumers need to demand change. Sites that practice this dishonesty need to be exposed. At least that's my opinion. I'd love to see Anandtech and Tom's (the two biggest sites) do up some major updated reviews just to expose this behavior by the likes of Fudzilla...

Anyone think more Objectivity is needed?

I have a question for you all. It has come to my attention that many sites seem to not post the whole story. They omit game results that would show their sponsors in a bad light (at least that's m observation). Now I don't want to make any accusations just yet but take the info I'm giving you...

Hilliary Clinton & UN and Gun Control

He embelished it a bit... The global gun ban is on Assault Rifles only (mainly automatic weapons) things civilians shouldn't own in the first place. I am a gun owner (44 Magnum, 30.06, 30.30, 9mm) And I would support such a measure. Not soo much for Canada/America... but mainly to rid...

Israeli envoy slams Canadian union's move to boycott Israel

It was a question and a comment about factual decisions being made by the Isreali politicians. I do not see how my comments are off topic at all. Isreali's want to setup a second class citizen status to palestinians living within Isreals borders.. the only other democratic civilised nation to...

Why do we downplay historical facts?

I agree... There is no definite right or wrong (black or white) in any issue/argument facing our people(s)/societies. Often the true answers are found in the shades of grey. The problem currently, in America at least, is that politicians are playing the whole black and white/ Good cop, Bad...

    Gay marriage amendment failed

Not confused at all... marriage (as in Matrimonial ceremony) is a religious ceremony performed by a religious leader. Civil Unions are a state controlled union between two people. The judicial institution should control Civil Unions as they administer them. But Marriage should remain with...

Israeli envoy slams Canadian union's move to boycott Israel

You apparently have a comprehension problem. My post and comment in the OP stated very clearly that posts were to be on topic. Anandtech Moderator So Isreali Jews will enact laws reminiscent of the Hitler years to protect themselves from a growin population. This is what you...

Why do we downplay historical facts?

Conservatives don't like to be reminded of historical facts.. or facts all together... they've VERY content on doing things by gut feeling.

Genocide in Africa... Dictator in Iraq...

I am Abenaki... so your reference to Indians directly involves myself and my ancestors. In many ways.. my ancestors could have fought back... but we were too bull deaded to listen to Tecumseh. Had we listened to Tecumseh and united all of the native tribes together... mark my words.. we would...

Our gas is measure in litres. 1 year ago it was about 65cents a litre... now it's 1,10 a litre. Cost me like $30 to fill up a year ago.. now it costs me about 50-60 varying.

Genocide in Africa... Dictator in Iraq...

Follow the Prime directive.. (star trek). Offer some assitance.. but sit aside... countries need to find there own freedoms. The people need to fight for it themselves. Once that comes into play, once people start to believe in freedom... great things happen.. look at your country, france...

    Gay marriage amendment failed

Wow, you sound like Bill O'reilly (Probably a compliment to you). You shouldn't feel like you're being guilted into it. You should just think back at your parents fundamental teachings, look towards the bible if you're christian. DO NOT listen to religious leaders (as they have shown time...

    Gay marriage amendment failed

Yes you are. Same as the "far more people who believed black people shouldn't be allowed to ride the bus". Sheer numbers don't mean you're right. Most Terrorists believe that Killing an American is right.. does this mean it's right then? There are more straight people then gay people. So...

    Ban gay weddings, says Bush

Canada Police bust group with three tons of ammonium nitrate

Uhhh no our Anti-Terrorism laws haven't changed since they were drafted by OUR LIBERAL government under Jean Chretien. We can detain suspects but must offer them there civil liberties (right of an attorney). We are not Right-Wing monsters... but we're moving that way. Credit for this arrest...

    D-Day

15,000 of my fellow Canadians rushed Juno beach on D-Day in 1944.. they fought valiantly and took command of the second most heavilly fortified beach (Omaha being the most heavilly fortified). The brave Canadian men, at the end of the day, had avanced soo far into enemy territory that they were...

    Ban gay weddings, says Bush

Why ban gay marriage? I don't see how we, the straight people, own marriage. Marriage is a union between two loving individuals. We the straight people believe it's a man and a woman... while gay people believe it's a man and a man or a woman and a woman... what's the difference? How is gay...

AT Benches Core 2 X6800 (2.93 Ghz Conroe) vs FX-62

Uh?! You cannot do anything to an OS to give a CPU such a large boost. Conroe is for real. I think it's about time AMD fanboys swallow there pride and admit to it. If it were an AMD CPU showing the same early results you'd all be jumping on that like Jessica Simpson at a college frat party...

    new seagate 7200.10s

I agree... Now I bought the 320GB version and it is being used in a file Server. I have found that it performs VERY well compared to some of my 15K SCSI drives (not as fast of course but it's decent enough for multi tasking environments). Which oddly enough goes against the results found...
