Can anyone that has installed Vista tell me how large their Vista x64 and x86 install is? I wanna make a partition large enough for the install with a bit of extra space for updates and some headroom for swapping. Btw, I plan to put the pagefile on another hard drive.
I'm stuck deciding what to get as I've come across some decent deals with an X1900XT Crossfire setup or a single 8800GTX.
X1900XT Crossfire setup = $295
8800GTX = $395
Or even just get a single X1900XT for now for $140.
I'd want it to handle the upcoming games like Crysis and all...
I got some Elpida DDR2 PC2-5300 (667mhz) sticks and on the ICs it shows this code:
E5108AG-6E-E
These sticks are certified 1GB modules, however, the codes don't seem to reflect that??
The 51 part seems to refer to 512 mb modules.

Is there that much of a performance difference between the 2 to justify spending more for that 7800GT? Bang for the buck I was thinking of that x800xl but would that be adequate for most games to play smoothly at high quality? Also I been hearing bout some image quality issues on the 7800GT...
What's everyone using for overclocking for value ram? I'm trying to find some value ram that can do 280-290 with a 2:3 divider (~186 fsb) at 2-2-2-5 for A64 3000+. Anyone using OCZ Premier or Corsair Value Select able to achieve that?
