Very slow system when 8GB is installed vs 4GB

I've disabled C1E and EIST to no avail. I don't see any options for memory remapping or MTRR/MMIO. I have enabled/disabled a "No-Execute Memory Protect" which didn't make a difference either. I contacted Gigabyte support before I came here and they didn't tell me anything I haven't already...

Very slow system when 8GB is installed vs 4GB

4GB installed: CPU-Z shows CPU @ 1.6 GHz, 6x Multiplier - RAM 400 MHz 8GB installed: CPU-Z shows CPU @ 2.4 GHz, 9x Multiplier - RAM 400 MHz I have no idea why the multiplier is higher with more RAM but actually feels several times slower. I can only assume something is up with the speed...

Hey guys, I'm building a new box for work, here is the complete spec for those interested: https://secure.newegg.com/NewV...istTitle=Boomshakalaka It's going to be based around a new Giga-byte mobo with the Intel P35 chipset and I've already decided it will have 6 GB of memory, but I'm not...

    Asus A7V133 Bios

Hey guys, I recently updated to version 1006 from www.socketa.com and ever since I have been having problems with my ram. The system will beep in an endless loop whenever I change the ram configuration to less than 384mb of ram. Nothing is wrong with keeping 384mb of ram in the system, the...
