My friend's having trouble getting into Win98, the logo appears but after that an 'out of scan range' message appears and stops comp from entering Windows - what is this related to? Cheers
Best unrealistic fight scene - for those who mentioned Matrix, I liked the film and its action but the karate scene is nothing I haven't seen before in 1001 chopsocky movies from 70's and 80's Hong Kong cinema, all the stylised kung fu moves etc. Yuen Woo Ping has choreographed better fight...
bOmbrman - the cop in Hard Boiled(Tony Leung) is not so black and white a character I thought-in fact it for me it harked back to The Killer in this respect-but I agree Hard Boiled doesn't have the depth of Killer but generally more action-packed - I prefer Hard Boiled:D Loved the sparks between...
hehe-I went shopping for a ddr board a few weeks back with my cousin-I haven't kept up with ddr mobos since I got a KT133a a while back-surprised to see hardly any mobos offering multiplier adjustment-I knew many ppl on AT were using Epox'es but since I thought HK didn't have them the only...
Hi CattyKathy - I don't mind if ppl lower their voices because it shows they are polite, obviously you are:) and some ppl do need to leave cell phones on due to various reasons, I do understand-ggrrr, but when some raise their voices even louder than normal to outdo the sounds from the film :|...
hopefully not in front of some punk who can't help tapping my seat with their foot or near a prick who leaves their cell phone on then gets a call and proceeds to talk in normal volume oblivious to the disturbance caused to others:|
we get a lot of these ignoramouses in Hong Kong:disgust:
Noriaki - I considered John Woo, I really loved his earlier work in HK with Chow Yun Fat, unfortunately he moved to Hollywood and the rest is history :(
added Ridley Scott, Akira and Kubrick-obviously some of the earlier directors I have missed out as I'm more into contemporary filmmakers - but the poll list is getting long!! No-one mentioning Truffaut?
Scouzer - I know that most 1ghz run 200fsb but if you've got a board that runs 133 default then wouldn't you start from that point?
Jiggz - maybe I was a little confused in my post, but the point I'm trying to make is 132x10.5 would be pushing the agp and pci 32% more, wouldn't it? At 133x10.5...
seems ppl have decided that the thread is 4cyl vs 6 vs 8:)
if the argument is about which engine is superior, then cost should not be a factor as you buy the car as a package IMO
V6 and V8 and V12's do sound smooth and rather testosterone-filled(me Tarzan, you Jane)cool
the vtecs sound crazy...
why is it that you were o/c'ing from a default 100fsb?
when you are at 133fsb is this at default fsb? If not then your pci and agp slots are running an unnecessarily high multiplier and stopping you from increasing the fsb. Or it coould be just the generic ram:)
Now I really want an axia-r:D
are you using default 1.33x10? if so have you thought about increasing fsb and maybe lowering the multiplier if you want to keep around 1.33?
Personally I found that running 9/9.5x100=900/950 on my duron is not always as fast as 6.5x133=864, the extra bandwidth of the memory making up for the...
Lxi - Heehee, so the question is not why the 1.33 ghz AMD System a bit slow, but rather why are WE a bit slow?:o This could be interpreted as an understatement:D
and you'd be right;)
<< I agree with the others, a cpu boost is nice, but don't expect phenominal jumps with a video card like that... it's already very fast. >>
But he should expect a much more reasonable jump, the gts is not the bottleneck at the low res that he's running, it should be a good bench for cpu...
Swag1138 - thanks for the response - the only one that has answered my original question:D I am not dissin' wrestling, and I do respect other ppl's personal tastes/preferences
