Found this topic using the search feature. I recently had the same issue with my Asus A8N32SLI - just came home to find it dead- very similar setup to your own. If you browse the asus forums its a fairly common issue. Anyway sending it in to them for RMA.
When answering the question as to how fast I was going, I just say yep and leave it at that. Ive never gotten off with a warning, 3 tickets so far in my life. I like the reaction i get when they call asking for donations for the state patrol, etc.. I just tell them I already made my donation :)
Id bet on never, I'm currently waiting in the EVGA step-up queue, and there are many more in line in front of me. But thanks to their great customer service if I dont get one I'll be able to step up to whatever their next gen card is though :)
You just have to be lucky. I have the board but only cause i went online at like 2 am to find it in stock at newegg. After i ordered it went back to auto-notify. Paid around 250.
Edit: sorry i couldnt be more help, just have to keep checking online, dont trust ETA's
Yea, I can't wait till pop culture deems it "cool" or "in style" to dress this way again. Just like when 70's styles came back. Half the people talkin trash now will be in front of a mirror with the aquanet teasing up their big hair to fit in.
Im using the zalman 9500 and it works excellent with this type of board since it also directs airflow over the chipset heatsink. I beleive the problem is when having 4 dimms installed it forces the memory to run at 2T timings, as that would defeat the purpose of having low latency ram in the...
I have this board and that memory. I havent heard anything about it not being able to have four chips installed. I know it wont run in dual channel mode with 4 sticks, are you sure thats not what they mean by it not being supported?
Yeah mine was about $800 even including tax and free shipping. I think that was with a 30% off coupon stacked with a DPA discount. Then pay it off right away cause dell APRs suck.
Im figuring no according to the site. And if you look at the pics of the box on newegg, the one ending in AX advertises a lifetime warranty, the other does not.
Edit: Maybe ask them why if you get them on the line, im kind of curious myself.
Yeah after looking at the ebay listing they say they are selling for a "reasonable" price of 234.99. While other places are charging more? Dont forget the 16.99 shipping. As I recall isnt the msrp of this board around $199. So arent they doing the same thing that they claim other vendors are...
Page 41 of the pdf manual has a vendor list for ram.

I got the Corsair 3500LL and so far its great but I havent had time to try any overclocking.
I have this board with one GTX KO and the xtrememusic and it does have enough room to add another for sli. Even with one slot cooling of the KO it still will only leave one usable pci slot. Im running an x2 3800+ @ 30C idle thanks to my zalman 9500 so no compatibility problems there either.
