yeah this guy is pulling something here I decided to check up on him on his feedback for ebay and it seems he has been banned from ebay and his account has been closed.
So screw it I am calling UPS right now and having my package sent back to me asap.
Soon as they confirm its being rerouted I...
So I am Really Really Pissed off with this user "raymondmar1mty"
This is whats going on:
I Sold a Brand New Factory Sealed Gigabyte UD5 mother board to this user for only $200 Shipped.
The buyer just now emails me claiming he wanted me to pay like next day air shipping for free but I Paid...
Thanks man you made my day!!
So is there any data yet on sepcs like speed,cores,threads,cach,ect....??
I am so getting one of these as long as they are reasonably priced. :P
Oh I am not argueing with you in the least actually I totally agree with you.
Gigabyte used to be a good company but has gone down hill the last year or so.
And seeing all the problems people are having and then experiencing them myself leads me to believe its time to jump ship and get another...
Really??I think they have very nice color schemes.
I dont hate gigabyte at all they have been a very good brand for me up till now.
I just dont want to go through a repeat of this bs non posting crap again.
Now MSI on the other hand... well every single board I have ever had from them has...
Yeah I normally buy two of the same mobo's and two of the same cpu's but lately with the economy the way it is I have only been able to buy 1 cpu and 2 mobo's this gen.
I sold my spare UD5 to get something else which turned out to be the Asus gene II.
I just didnt have the heart to open the...
Well guys it is Fugly you have to admit that but it is quite the good price.
Maybe I should pickup one of these for a backup incase my other mobo takes a digger.
But guys its between these two -V- not the msi.. Matter of fact I hate MSI not to mention that motherboard is fricking Fugly as hell!!
EVGA X58 SLI Micro
ASUS Rampage II GENE
So I sold my spare ud5 mobo I was going to use for a lan rig this fall and decided that all that crap is way to heavy to be lugging around in a full tower.
Now I am in the market to get a nice Matx mobo and have narrowed it down to these two.
EVGA X58 SLI Micro
ASUS Rampage II GENE...
Well heres the deal... the mobo will not post at all with memory in ram slot 1 and it will crash if any memory's in ram slot 6 by itself.
After installing windows or ubuntu both Os'es being 64bit with one stick of ram I am able to put all 6 sticks in and it boots and detects all 6 sticks and...
I did all that about a million times :( I think its a faulty ram slot.
I checked around via google and its a huge problem with this version and brand.
Bullshit I am so pissed off I stayed up all night mucking around with this crap.
Damn it!!
ok So I took out all the ram and then put 1 stick in and installed ubuntu no problems but here is the new problem.
If I put any of the sticks in the first ram slot no boot at all but the slot is not bad as I have ran memtest with a stick in ramslot "1,2,&3" and no issue's all pass just fine...
Well I am at a loss for words here.
I have ran memtest in both ubuntu and windows disc and they are perfect no error's at all.
I can run ubuntu in live mode via dvd drive and usb but when I go to install it it crashes and the same goes for windows.
I changed options in bios so damn much I am...
yes it is the original disc and I knew about the error that it could give I just never thought I would run into this problem.
I went and changed my settings in bios to this:
CPU Clock Ratio [20x]
Advanced CPU Features [Press Enter]:
CPU Clock Ratio [20x]
Intel(R) Turbo Boost Tech...
the only thing I can think of is maybe I need to up the voltage a bit seeing how I am using 12GB's. I will try to install ubuntu and run a memtest to see if I am stable.
I think its just a bug of some kind in vista.
Maybe not but I will try this for now.
Keep me posted people if anyone else...
Shit it blue screened on me about 10 mins into re-installing vista. What the hell could be wrong??
Looks like I will be installing ubuntu for now till I find out what the hell is the matter.
Anyone else got any idea's?
ok so I got a new system different from the rig in my sig.
Gigabyte EX-UD5
Core I7 920 DO
Patriot Viper 6 x 2GB pc1600
500GB WD 32MB Buffer HDD
Enermax 800w PSU
Zotac 8800GT Limited ED 2GB
Everything is at stock settings but it keeps crashing.
I did use the same Hard dirve that was...
who knows but everything is hecka expensive at first specially these days.
Shoot when I bought my first set of ddr3 memory it ran me $300-$400 just for 3x1GB now I upgraded to 6x2GB for only about $120..
Just like video cards I remember buying x2 7800GTX's for like $500 each and now you can...
oh yeah!! i am counting the days i so want that its not even funny..
The problem is though amd already has there 6 core counter parts out at newegg.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16819103691
And this one can be had for as little as $400...
Just sell your crappy q6600 and the rest of your system and get a core i7 920.
Its everything you've wanted in the future but you get it now!!
Kinda like getting a time machine and going a couple years into the future to get the newer part you've always dreamed of but like I said you get it...
Ok everyone Please calm down this is turning into a flame fest here.
I was just expressing my personal experience with my lot of 720BE's
So yeah if your not unlocking the extra core then sure I can believe that you got 3.8 on water maybe.
Again I am not saying they are bad for the everyday...
No sir you didnt get a bum chip 720 is a crap shoot plain and simple and I dont care what people tell you cause you cant believe every little thing you hear or read.
You gotta remember these people are here to make money for these companies by tickleing our ears with shit we like to hear and in...
Yes it will bottleneck the crap out of that card.
You are going to want to either overclock the hell out of it or upgrade to a cheap quadcore.
Those are the only options I can see that will help out if you actually decide to buy it.
All these hardware upgrade are going way to fast for me and its getting way outta hand now.
I was going to get me a nice shiney 4890 but screw it now.
guess i will just wait for what ever they call the next dx11 cards.
I thought though they were putting an end to all these cards and cards...
I know I seen it in the hot deals section and the damn little buy it now devil is on my shoulder again wispering go ahead get it you know you want it
but on the other shoulder I have the little dont buy it angel telling me to wait till dx11 :(
Damn it!!
OMG you are going to kill that chip I dont care if you are running dry ice thats way to damn high for anything more then a suicide run for bragging rights.
it may even explode I would back that down asap!!
Unless you are wrong where that decimal goes and its more like 1.15v then your fine but...
but you could sell it in the seller section and then pay the difference.
You would see a huge jump in power and speed but if you want to hang on I dont blame ya money dont grow on tree's these days right!!
yep thats what it was socket "F" sorry about that I said not to quote me. ;)
if you are looking for more power why not get a 940BE or 955BE both will work on your current mobo..
I was thinking of upgrading my grafx card but dont know what to get.
Is it worth upgrading now or should I wait till dx11??
I see some good deals but I dont want to get stuck with something that wont play Inferno or alen wake.
Ummm what to do what to do??
Ubuntu 9.04 and gentoo are the only ones I would even touch.
Although I hear opensuse and mint are pretty great too.
I have been running ubuntu since 6.04 which is abouts the same time vista came out.
Personaly had I known ubuntu was this great I would have never went the windows vista route...
Thank you very much for the link I found that very interesting.
It kinda sucks its non interchangable with up coming itx boards :(
I dont want core i5 or i3 they are junk plain and simple compaired to core i7.
Plus they are a minor upgrade compaired to say q9650.
how do you explain the mobo in this then?
Sure looks like its a itx and it fits every thing needed??
